Re: No audio out

Hi Mike et al.,
when reading the replies to your worry, this thought immediately crossed my
mind: "volume set properly?" - because exactly this happens to me at times. I
presume it is the AVG virus checker update which ever so often resets the slider
to 50%. I got used to looking at this slider whenever output is zero or close to
it, because I do not download any MS W.-XP updates. They caused me too much
headache in the past without bringing any advantage.
I got a 2nd navigator on a different machine which is used for radio only and
not linked to the internet, so no virus program running. It is stable like a
marble statue since it came into use a year ago.
Hope to meet you on air again.

large clang. Whilst I have both sliders in the mixer panel to full on there is
another slider in "Sounds and audio device properties" marked "VOLUME" which is
easily missed and "MUST" also be at maximum..........SO PROBLEM SOLVED.......YET
AGAIN. I really must be getting old.... Thanks guys for the pointers and it
really was "the wood for the trees syndrome."
