However, we welcome those of all cultural/ethnic backgrounds to join us in the never ceasing journey of tracing our ancestors and learning more about the lives they once lived, and the roads that they paved, for the life we know now.

When reposting information, you MUST obtain permission from the author/artist before you repost the material and you MUST cite your source (name or pseudonym, URL, etc.).  Posts not containing proper citation and evidence of permission will be deleted and the individual will be immediately removed and banned.  The offender's ISP, screen name, and e-mail address will be reported to Yahoo! for copyright infringement and shared with other genealogy groups in an attempt to preserve genealogical integrity, protect original works, and adhere to the law.  

All new members are automatically on "moderated" status until the appropriateness of their posts has been determine by the moderators.  "Flooders" will be placed back on moderated status.  Please post only links in response to a request for information in order to preserve space and avoid flooding.  Advertisements & posts of adult nature will be deleted immediately without warning and the author banned.
