N.A.H.E. is the National Association for Humanities Education. NAHE was founded over thirty years ago to advance the teaching and understanding of the humanities through its biennial conference, its publications, and its website, among other means. The organization is perfect for anyone interested in the Humanities and Interdisciplinary study, as they can benefit from NAHE's activities, but educators (both K-12 and college), museum directors, and others who work with public humanities programs should find membership especially useful. For NAHE the Humanities are those areas of study and creative activity that express and define what we are as human beings. Art, History, Literature, Music, Philosophy, and Religion are just some of those areas. NAHE is especially interested in the exploration of the interdisciplinary connections among these and other areas of study.
