Please log-in and join us...it's free and easy to protect your trail access! The MTC was formed in 2003 by San Diegans supporting the use of our local park and preserve trails by all non-motorized users: hikers, trail runners, cyclists and equestrians.

We believe our parks and preserves offer all San Diegans the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and our natural resources with our friends and families, and that all non-motorized trail users can and do co-exist comfortably and safely. We oppose exclusionary trails policies that seek to prevent local families, homeowners, taxpayers and lovers of the outdoors from enjoying our trails, and we've worked together to secure designation of trails in Los Penasquitos and the Del Mar Mesa as "multi-use". MTC members volunteer their time to work with Rangers and our elected officials to ensure better, equitable trail access for all San Diegans, to maintain and repair trails and to defend our rights to access our Open Space.
