2. What motivated you to want to move to San Miguel de Allenda? Low cost of living? Leave a big city for a more relaxed village life?

3. What do you expect to be the cost of living there?

4. What's the best airfares you have been able to find. Where are you coming from?

5. Where do you plan to use as your destination? Drive all the way? Mexico City, Leon, Queretaro, other location?

6. Do you have suggestions of where to rent initially?

7. How about buying after renting awhile? Have you picked a location yet?

8. Do you plan to sell your pre-move house, or keep it for now and then use?

9. Are you willing to completely cut all ties with your pre-move area?

10. What kind of life style do you plan once you are settled there?

11. Do you plan to live there all year, or be a snow bird?

12. Do you plan to live there "forever" or eventually return to your home elsewhere once you get to be very old?

13. How long did you consider this move before committing to it?

14. If you are married, do you and your spouce equally agree on this move? If he/she disagrees, how do you expect to change the situation?

15. Do you already speak Spanish? If not, have you tried to learn? Visitors to San Miguel report that few lower paid workers such as hotel workers know English. Have you considered taking lessons in San Miguel? If so, do you have a recommendation for one of the six schools teaching Spanish there?
