This group is a community resource to support families in the Mount Baker neighborhood of Seattle.

Members are welcomed to use the group to:
• exchange news and information about kid-focused events & services,
• connect our kids for play dates,
• seek, sell and swap baby gear – strollers, cribs, carriers, toys, clothes …
• reach out for help and support for various parenting issues,
• share information about the effort promote John Muir as our community elementary school,
• discuss other school and education issues.

This is your community – help when you can and ask for help when you need it!

We welcome members from Mount Baker and surrounding neighborhoods including Leschi, Beacon Hill, Lakewood & Columbia City. If you are a parent who wants to be involved, contact us!

For security purposes, this is a "restricted membership" group, which means that unsolicited membership requests must be approved. To join, in the comments section of the membership form, please state which neighborhood you live in and introduce yourself and your family (including kids’ ages). This will enable us to build our membership roster as well as help keep spammers out of the group. Be as specific as you can. Spammers can be very sneaky – posing as “a mom with 2 kids” to get in and then load up the site with junk. Convince me you are a real person! We cannot accept blank or even vague applications.
