This group is devoted to gaining and sharing information to promote the use and re-use of the Motorola Micor radios. Individuals, dealers, service facilities are welcome. These radio sets are in daily service as some of the better repeaters, links, and remote bases. It was created to exchange information on and promote the use of these radios in amateur and commercial service as primary radios or as links.

Wanted / For Sale or trade ads are encouraged as long as they don't become a major percentage of the traffic. Ebay links by sellers of personal equipment are OK.

Please, no FCC, ARRL, or repeater usage discussion. Personal attacks will NOT be tolerated. Originators will be moderated, probably removed and possibly banned.

New members are automatically placed on moderation status only to keep out spammers that join, make their droppings, and evaporate. New members are converted to "No Moderation" in due time. If you are a spammer, just go away now and save us and yourself the wasted effort.

This pretty much a hands-off group - there is little moderation unless things get out of hand.

Attachments are disabled due to past virus problems. As an alternative to force-feeding your file to every group member, just upload to the files or photos section of this group with a descriptive name. Then post a message describing your file. Those who want it can then go get it. Since the technical articles are all over on repeater-builder.com, the files and photos sections are almost empty.
