This is a members only group and is designed to be a medium for the discussion of the early priesthood, doctrines and practices as restored through Joseph Smith and continued on until today - things such as polygamy (polygyny - plural marriage), united order, temple ordinances, Kingdom of God, Council of 50, etc. Not just polygamy! Also, the changes which have occurred over the years by the various Churches claiming at least a foundation through Joseph Smith.

The topics discussed are at the discretion of the members. However, the members should concentrate on the discussion of principles, and not the personal weaknesses of some of the participants, including their leaders. This will NOT turn into a forum for character assassination of current or past leaders or members of the various restoration churches, or other members of this group. This group will also NOT be used as a proscelyting medium for those seeking followers.

In order to control this, and bring it to a minimum, while striving to allow maximum freedom, several rules will be administered. New members will be moderated for a period of time until the moderator feels comfortable that they can control themselves. Then, they will be allowed to post freely. If, however, they later post something that crosses the line, the moderator will either put them back on moderated status, restrict them from posting entirely, or ban them from the list, at the moderators discretion. Act like this discussion group is being held in the moderator’s house, be good, and you won’t be restricted or kicked out!
