This list is dedicated to the joys of ancient coin collecting. The period covered extends from the earliest coinage through medieval. Topics may include your collection, news and events, requests for advice and attribution, historical discussion as related to coins and more. Basically anything to do with ancient and medieval coins. Lively discussions are encouraged but extended flames and abusive language are not. Limited sales notices are allowed, please see our FAQ page for details.

I get similar numbers. Modelling the selection of 575 coins as "sampling with replacement" from the population of coins, for it to be 50% likely that one
