This list was created for all the fans of today's major railways and short lines as well as regional railroads. Posts can be concerning the today's Class One Railroads, such as the BNSF and Union Pacific, CSX Transportation, AMTRAK, Norfolk Southern, or a Canadian route like Canadian Pacific/Canadian National, or even a short line railway. We also socialize about some of our recent merger losses such as the Santa Fe, Southern Pacific, Conrail, Denver and Rio Grande, Chicago and North Western and the Burlington Northern. This group also concerns itself with post-merger consists, trip reports, and discussion on various types of diesel locomotives. This list is restricted as to who may subscribe and who cannot. We have the rights to expel l anyone from this group at any time, for whatever reason. We are only concerned only with todays railroads and the recent losses. we prefer the information given to pertain to the 1990's (although certain early discussions and off-topic discussions will be allowed).
