This group is for everyone who likes reading and discussing modern horror novels. Both readers and writers of modern horror novels are welcome here. We'll include books by such authors as Clive Barker, Ray Bradbury, Poppy Brite, Ramsey Campbell, Tom Holland, Shirley Jackson, Stephen King, T.E.D. Klein, Dean Koontz, Elizabeth Kostovo, Deborah LeBlanc, Richard Matheson, Kim Newman, Joyce Carol Oates, Douglas Preston, Anne Rice, John Saul, Dan Simmons, Peter Straub, and many others. We'll have polls so everyone can vote on which book to read and discuss each month. Come on in to our dark and gloomy mansion where doors creak and candles flicker and things go bump in the night.
