A group for Southern California model railroaders, model railroad layout owners and clubs to share their progress, experiences, tips and techniques with each other. All Southern California model railroaders, with or without layouts, are very welcome to participate.

Featured layouts can be of any railroad, time period or geographic setting, however, the physical location of the layout must be in the southern half of the state.

Members may post Southern California railroad events and railroad club may post news.

Discussions are to remain on topic and civil at all times. As this site is a resource and not a Blog or Chat Room, messages intended for one individual should not be posted for the entire group. Use of this site for commercial purposes or individual selling is not allowed. Violators of these policies will be banned from the group.

LAYOUT TOURS: Two San Diego County tours are scheduled for July 14 and August 11. A tour parallel to the PSR/NMRA Convention is planned for September and a Central Coast tour is planned for October. A Kern County tour is planned for March 8, 9 & 10, 2013.
