PROBLEM SOLVED It was a common mode problem all bands are 1.4 or lower everything is working like a jet Thanks for all the hints and info Randy KC2BE

I would try an 17 or 18 ft ground strap from the feed point to up under the frame and anchor it at the opposite end. This will tell you if there is an RF

... If cable length affects the match, that's an indicator of common mode. That then belies a grounding problem as well. It would probably be useful to note

... I agree it's probably bonding or grounding, but when you get odd behaviour at particular wavelengths, it can be worth looking for odd cable length issues.
