Just a reminder that the Every Church a Peace Church
(ECAPC) September Potluck will be a week from this
Monday, on September 12 at 6:30 P.M.
The potluck will be at First Presbyterian Church of
White Bear Lake, 4821 Bloom Avenue, White Bear Lake,
at the corner of 5th Street and Bloom Avenue

The program will be a performance of "August 9: A
Chaplain's Reflections on Nagasaki", the reflections
of the Catholic chaplain who served the Air Force
pilots who dropped the bombs on Hiroshima and
Nagasaki.

Directions to First Presbyterian Church: Take I-35 E
north to Highway 96. Go East to Highway 61 (1.7
miles), then north on Hwy 61 (about .5 mile). Turn
left at 4th Street, where there is a stoplight. Go one
block to Bloom Avenue. Turn right and go one block to
5th Street. The church is on the corner. There is a
small parking lot in back of the building and plenty
of parking on the street. (Note: 5th Street does not
cross Hwy 61.)

We also wanted to send out information bout the "Word
and World"  conference which will be meeting in
Minneapolis October 6-9. The attached flyer and
registration form have more information. Please note:
registration for the conference is due by September 6,
so the timeline is short if you're interested in attending.
