At present there are not sufficient ethical guidelines on the part of Christian and other missions regarding their efforts to "evangelize" tribal peoples and much damage is being done to the long term well being of these tribal peoples.
Interdenomination competition for "ownership" of villages on the part of evangelicals is one of the most damaging, along with the goal to build church buildings in every village.
