Dear MBM Colleagues,
I have a few unanticipated slots open for small nonprofits in the
Boston area that need pro bono consultations. This is because the
Data Collaborative has very generously decided to underwrite more
slots than originally planned.
What you get is an hour or two of pro bono assistance from a
strategist who specializes helping nonprofits and philanthropies
subordinate their technology infrastructures to their missions. In
other words, you get me.
The pro bono consultations are done on the basis of what I call "The
Three Nos." That is:
1) There will be no charge to the nonprofit.
2) There will no further commitment on the part of the nonprofit.
3) There will be no sales pitches to the nonprofit
If your nonprofit is interested, please send an email to Eric Segal of
the Data Collaborative <eric@...>, addressing these
questions briefly but explicitly:
1) What does your non-profit do?
2) What are your technological challenges?
3) How do you think a consultation with Deborah could help?
We try to do this in the most simple and straightforward way. Assuming
that I'm qualified to help you, that your organization is a small
nonprofit, and that you're within easy traveling distance of Boston,
then you're probably eligible. If you're eligible but all the slots
are already filled, then we'll put you on the waiting list. We reserve
the right give preference to organizations that are especially
strapped for cash and that have really wonderful missions.
Best regards from Deborah
