Re: Is there a directory of meeting rooms available to community groups?

Good points, John. MNN is now exploring building such databases into our
resource directory, and what it would take, but we do see the need.

Thanks,
Dave Magnani

>>Great question and so far some great answers! I have suggestion for the group.
Perhaps for resource-questions like this we use the database function of the
yahoo group so that it'd be easier to find or add to down the road. There have
been a number of times when I have a question and vaguely remember it being
asked and answered months earlier on this list. So I try to search through old
messages to find the thread. It'd be more convenient if I just clicked to the
database or documents section on this group and found it that way.
Free or low cost meeting facilities is one great question. Related to it are
great retreat and conference facilities. Clusters of non-profit office space for
rent. Suggestions for good accounting firms and fiscal agents/back-office
service providers. Also, I'd imagine that many on this list are interested in
answers to these questions but not merely focused on Boston.>>
