Description

What are Minimalist QRP Transceivers? These transceivers goes by many names. Pixie, Pixie II, Tixie, Flea, Tornado, Peanut, Rixpix, other slightly more then minimalistic are SST, Rock-Mite... there are more and they will be added. What is similar about all of these transceivers is that people say that they should not work. But when they do work it is AMAZING! So here we are. This is a group about these transceivers. About the antennas, about the modifications and there are many. You DO NOT have to be a Ham Radio operator to join. You DO NOT have to be a Ham Radio operator to make these incredible radios. You DO NOT have to be a Ham Radio operator to listen on these incredible radios. You DO HAVE TO BE a Ham Radio operator to transmit on these radios though. We can help you with that too here. Becoming an operator is as easy as it can be and some say it is far too easy now.

The rules here are as simple as they can be.
1. Learn
2. Listen
3. Respect each other, there are no stupid questions and we have all been there before.
4. No flaming, no religion, no politics (outside of Radio). Off Topic is fine. This is a friendly place to have fun, but if it is off topic be kind and put OT in the Topic so people will know.
5. NO SPAMMING. If you think we have a spammer email a MOD so we can get rid of them.
6. And for God's sake, enjoy your time here. Life's too short.
