Welcome!
My vision for this group was to create a place for fun, creative, open-minded people with very mixed yet similar interests~
i found many of my friends and acquaintances enjoyed alot of the same things i did, Good music,nature/outdoors ,physical activities,Spiritual pursuits,Cultural events and enlightenment...

i tried to sum all this up into 1 big interest-group and this is the result "Mind Body Soul-NY" seems to cover everything we want to experience and develop.

we'll enjoy Many activities and get-togethers such as:
*drum/dance gatherings,music jams,concerts
*cultural events/festivals(museums,folk festivals,pow-wows)
*Spiritual events (Kirtan chanting,Sweat-lodges,guided meditations etc.)
*Camping,beach,biking,blading,hikes,kayaking~
*Artist/craftsmen collaborations (painters,woodworkers,sculptors,hook up in each others shops~)

Most events will be around the nassau/suffolk area,with NYC events *maybe*a little less frequent but certainly present!.camping etc of course will be all over :)

Well~ these are just a few examples off the top of my head..anything that falls close to these areas,feel free to post about!
