The purpose of this group is to unite the potenial users and all other interested parties of the proposed Milpitas Dog Park.

It is presumed that the ability of all interested parties to freely and easily communicate with one another, will increase awareness and participation in solutions to issues as they arise. During the process of planning and executing the construction of a dog park, integration of ideas will help assure that the completion of the project will yield a dog park that best meets the needs of our community.

While disagreement on issues is a healthy and productive part of any decision process, it is further presumed that it is in the best interest of all to keep all comments directed toward the issues and NOT directed AT individuals who's views may differ. This group is founded in the spirit of friendly debate and discussion which will in turn lead to positive relationships between the City of Milpitas, the Santa Clara County Park Service, other governmental officials, our community and the park patrons.
