MILITARY DIVORCE DISCUSSION GROUP is a forum for service members, spouses, and others who are interested in sharing info on their experiences, problems, lessons learned, division of military retired pay, SBP, and other issues involved in a divorce where one or both of the parties is active duty, Reserve/Guard, or retired.

Postings by legal professionals, counselors, financial advisors, and other professionals are welcome, provided the posting is in response to a question or issue posted by another member, or adds to the discussion. A posting just for advertising purposes is not allowed. Postings by professionals are limited to a 5-line signature block (your name and title, name of company, address, and phone numbers/website). Nothing posted here will be considered to be giving legal or other professional advice, and shall serve as general information only. New members to this group need to read the list rules. Please identify, if appropriate, the branch of service and state. Postings of a political nature (except posts related to proposed legislation, citing an elected official who is referencing military divorce, etc.) are unacceptable and will be deleted.
