Description

This group is for Midwestern supporters of retired Army General Wesley Clark who is being drafted to run for the presidency in 2004 as a Democrat. General Clark is a progressive, moderate military man who calls Arkansas home. General Clark offers a unique view of the current administration's foreign policy and the situation in Iraq. A West Point graduate who was also a Rhodes Scholar, Clark served in Vietnam where he led a mechanized infantry company. In his career, he won the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. Clark served as Commander-in-Chief of US Southern Command in 1996-97 and NATO Supreme Allied Commander in 1997-2000 where he led NATO forces in the Serbian campaign.
