Description

This is a friendly County Antrim list covering the area around Ballymena, Ahoghill, Galgorm, Kells, Connor, Glarryford, Gracehill, Cullybacky, Larne, and Craigs. It also includes all the townlands in this area. We hope you will enjoy learning the history of Mid-Antrim and be able to locate records to help you find those elusive ancestors.

There are no rules, no restrictions, and hopefully no rudeness. Please feel free to post queries for the Mid County Antrim area or even surrounding counties. Many families have been in the same location for 100’s of years but some moved from one county to another for various reasons, often to find work.

Historical, polite political, and religious debates are always welcome, after all, those events and feelings have made N. Ireland what it is today.

It would be a good idea to check your subject lines when posting - this will allow members to only view messages that are of interest to them.

Deb, If you put your photos in the new folder I created under "photos" I will use them for the home page in a couple of months. Thanks so much! Lind

Re: New Home Page Photo
I live in N Antrim and have coastal views, but  nothing for Mid Antrim. I would suggest Slemish  as being 'iconic' of Mid-Antrim How I hate that over used
