Hi Allen, Thanks, that helps a lot. My usual battery pack is a 7.2V (nominal, about 8.4V at full charge) Li-ion pack. That's probably not quite enough head

Mark, The RTG and GPS 4, will draw approximately 65 mA in standby, most of the power budget going to keep the GPS awake. At about 9 Volts ( a rough estimate)

Is it possible to run the MicroTrak RTG-FA at less than 12V if lower RF output is acceptable? What is the lowest input voltage that produces reliable
