The Witch Hat Society (WHS) had its first chapter and first meeting on September 30, 2004 with a few devoted fans of famous witches such as Samantha on Bewitched and Glenda from the Wizard of Oz. That enthusiasm caught on and now there are 8 chapters in Indiana, Michigan, Canada, Illinois and St. Louis as well as the 8th Chapter here in Michiana! The 8th Chapter, also known as the Michiana Witch Hatters was born to witch mom's Britney and Lauree on March 2nd, 2008 when we attended our first WHS meeting and adopted our chapter.

The WHS is a group of fun loving people, men and women, who share a common interest in tarot, astrology, spirituality and who love to make crafts. We hold discussion groups/classes, field trips, picnics and spiritual seeking adventures as well as sharing our individual talents to form our own unique and fantastic community.

The name Witch Hat Society is copyrighted and use of the name outside of the group is prohibited.

The Michiana Chapter is one of 12 chapters around North America! We have but one requirement: no bashing of other religions, groups or people. We are one community and at all WHS functions we are all welcomed and get along.
