Yes Paul Ellifrit built one and brought it to the Midwest Messabout. You can
see it on Jim's newsletter at the link below. I had a chance to ride on it
however it was powered by a 4hp outboard rather than sail since there was no
wind. It was very roomy and stable. Paul did get a chance to sail it earlier
that day and was very pleased with the performance. He told me that he thought
he built just the right boat.
The only thing he mentioned changing was the length of the mast. It was just a
little too short for the sail. Jim mentioned that he was going to add one foot
to the length on the plans.
