MetroDCMoms is a support group run by moms, for moms, living in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Our goal is to be more than a message board: We are a community of women who understand one another and respect each other's opinions and parenting choices. Through the involvement of our members we provide one another valuable support both in our roles as mothers and in our lives as women. We invite you to share your experiences, vent your frustrations, and celebrate your child(ren) together with us. We value and respect the different choices members have made regarding lifestyle, parenting and employment. We are here to listen without judgment and to support each other through the demands of life and the challenges of parenting. We celebrate our differences, acknowledge that everyone has a valid opinion and welcome lively discussion. We expect our members to communicate in a mature and friendly manner. Disrespectful or abusive language is not necessary and will not be tolerated.
