A list for discussion and information about Heavy Metal & related subgenres, for people in New Zealand and New Zealanders overseas.

Basically anything relating to Metal is fine except for the obvious (eg. unwarranted flaming & generally obnoxious people). Spammers are immediately removed and banned.

So this means discussion of both local bands/gigs/info as well as overseas bands/tours/info, availability of CD's locally or by import, reviews, recommendations of good websites, etc, from the perspective of Kiwi metal fans.

Sell/Want lists and advertising online auctions and the like are fine as long as the person posting them is the seller and is in NZ and/or is a NZ'er. Lists posted by non-NZ people will be dealt with as spam.

Unfortunately there has been a case or two of people being stupid, and for the good of the list and all the reasonable people on it, new members may initially find their messages moderated until it's established that they are not going to be disruptive. Sorry to have to do this but as usual it only takes one or two to spoil it for everyone.
