CALENDAR
Find a class by clicking on the "Calendar" option.. Both the "Month" view and the "Event List" view work well for browsing classes. Yahoo requires that you be signed in (you need not be a "member" of this group) to see the calendar: they adjust the times shown to your time zone.

MESSAGES
You can also browse the message archives to look for class announcements, and use the Search feature to narrow the list. (You do not need to be a member of either Yahoo or this group to view messages; but members of this group may choose to receive them directly in their email.)

INSTRUCTORS:

Guidelines for posting classes.
1. Post your class both as a message and as a calendar event listing. The calendar listing provides students with a very easy way to browsing class offerings without having to hunt through the message archives.
2. Please turn OFF the "reminder" feature in the calendar listing. With so many classes offered, the list would get buried in reminder notices. (Note that Yahoo sometimes, but not always, may set a default reminder. Please reset this to No Reminder.)
3. Include the state (or country) in which the class is being offered in the class title. You may also include the instructor name if you desire.
4. Your "event type" should be "Class". (In Yahoo's new scheme, July 2012, leave it at General.)
