Any general discussion about metal clay should take place on the regular metal clay group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/metalclay/

Students:
Find a class by clicking on the "Calendar" option on the navigation menu. Both the "Month" view and the "Event List" view work well for browsing classes. I recommend bookmarking this page.

Instructors:
Please use the following guidelines for posting classes.
1. Please post your class both as a message and as a calendar event listing. The message post will be sent to the group ensuring the list is notified when new classes are added. The calendar listing will provide students with a very easy way to browsing the class offerings without having to hunt through the message archives.
2. Please do NOT use the "reminder" feature in the calendar listing. With so many classes offered, the list would get buried in reminder notices. I would disable this feature if I could, but I can't see a way to do that.
3. Please include the state (or country) in which the class is being offered in the class title. You may also include the instructor name if you desire.
4. Your "event type" should be "Class"

I have set the moderation settings so that membership requires approval. This is ONLY to keep spammers out. When you request membership please include a reason. Vague answers like "I'm interested in this group" is the hallmark of spammers, so be specific.
