Just wanted to see if you have reviewed Joe Vial's report about Mr. Trimm.

Subject: [unjs-news] Correcting Falsehoods reported by James Trimm
Recently, James Trimm has been spreading many falsehoods that have damaged the good name of many and this needs to be corrected. Otherwise, he will succeed in commiting one of the biggest deceptions to the general public ever heard of.
James Trimm commited numerous offenses for which the INBD (which he USED to hold himself accountable to) decided to discipline him for. Among those offenses were adultery, failing to honor ministry orders, and various deceptions. He now claims that his ministry was "hijacked", although the reality is that James Trimm has tried to hijack what does not belong to him. In reality, James Trimm was never removed from his "ministry" but only the Beit Din (Court of Justice) that his ministry used to report to.
Trimm has made the following claims.....
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
The International Nazarene Beit Din discussed the matter for about a
week and then took action to discipline TC and three of his
co-conspirators (all four of whom were beit-din members) by stripping
them of their positions on the Beit Din for six months.
))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
This is false. NO member of the International Nazarene Beit Din EVER even tried to vote to strip TC or anyone else of their membership in the INBD except James Trimm. In fact, at the end of this email, I will provide the FULL RECORDS by which James Trimm is claiming this lie so you can see for yourself how HUGELY DISHONEST his claim is.
((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((
Their true motives for this fraudulent election, embezzlement of the
domain name, and hijacking of our name "International Nazarene Beit
Din" has now become apparent.
......
The emails going out in the name of the INBD are teaching that the
term "Nazarene" should be understood as a synonym for "Christianity"
and that we as Nazarenes should stand in unity with our "brothers" in
Gentile Christianity, because, these emails also teach, Gentile
Christians should not be taught to observe the Mosaic Torah.
)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
This is false. James was removed from the Beit Din for adultery, among other reasons, and no one on the Beit Din even knew that the word "Nazarene" was used for both Jewish and Gentile believers until those records were uncovered a few weeks ago. This was not even known information at the time James Trimm was expelled from the INBD. James is spreading a lie in the hopes that you will think his dismissal from the INBD was due to theological differences, when it was actually due to his sins and personal failings and nothing to do with theology.
James Trimm has even gone so far as to engage in childish name calling, refering to the International Nazarene Beit Din as the "Inter-Faith Notzerim (Christian) Beit Din". Well, yes that's what people do when they have no substance to discuss - they resort to name calling. I could do the same thing and refer to his organization as the "Inter-Mormon Notsoreal Beit Din". After all, James Trimm has promoted the Book of Mormon in the past and I recently recieved reports that at least one or two UNR members are talking about the Book of Mormon in such a way as to give it credibility. I could talk about James is TRIMMING the BRANCHES instead of helping them grow. But where would that get us? It would only side track us from discussing the real substance of the issue.
As of August, 2007, no one - even James Trimm - would dispute the fact that the International Nazarene Beit Din (INBD) (housed at www.inbd.org ) was composed of .....
James Trimm, founding member , 1996
Eric Sandquist (1996, co-founder)
Yoseph Viel (nominated by James Trimm sometime between Nov 2001-June 2002)
Daniel Harris (nominated by James Trimm 2002)
TC Carr (nominated by James Trimm November, 2003)
Richard Green (nominated by James Trimm November, 2003)
Rob Miller (nominated by James Trimm in 2006)
Tom Mitchell (nominated by James Trimm in 2006, but he resigned on Sept 6 - the day charges where formally brought against James Trimm)
On September 3, 2007, a complaint was brought against James Trimm to the Beit Din, and a lengthy trial of James Trimm's conduct began. It ended as 5 of the 6 voting members of the International Nazarene Beit Din (other than James) voted to remove James Trimm from the INBD. After James was removed from the International Nazarene Beit Din, he went out and registered the "International Nazarene Beit Din" as a business name in Texas, which is kind of the equivalent of getting fired from McDonald's and then going out and trying to register McDonald's as your own business. That does not constitute "owning the rights" to the name, but constitutes deception. It is also a mockery to register a Beit Din as a "business". We are not a business and don't seek the arm of Caesar for protection. And it's is deceptive to call something a "Beit Din" if any one person owns the rights to it because a Beit Din has to be a body of equals, and that is not the case if any one person owns the rights to it.
No one disputes that as of today, The International Nazarene Beit Din (INBD at www.inbd.org ) is composed of
Eric Sandquist (1996, co-founder)
Yoseph Viel (nominated by James Trimm sometime between Nov 2001-June 2002)
Daniel Harris (nominated by James Trimm 2002)
TC Carr (nominated by James Trimm November, 2003)
Richard Green (nominated by James Trimm November, 2003)
...which is 5 of the original 7 voting members (71%) before the charges of misconduct were brought against James Trimm, which is hardly a "renegade" level of support as James Trimm labels it.
while James Trimm and Rob Miller formed a DIFFERENT Beit Din under the same name, adding a third person who was not old enough to be accepted as a voting member of the INBD (www.inbd.org). However, the sheer membership tells you how the majority of the INBD voted on the issue.
No one disputes the fact that www.inbd.org was the original web site of the INBD as of August 2007, and that James Trimm created a NEW web site at a different location that he gave the same name to after he was dismissed from the REAL International Nazarene Beit Din.
So what happened between August 2007 and October? Let me provide a chronology......
2007 Sep 3 - James Trimm admitted to the INBD that he had cheated on his wife with a woman that he had a relationship with prior to marrying his wife. He had an affair with this woman in 1993, and then revived that affair in late 2006 through part of 2007. He also admitted that this affair went on for several months from late 2006 to early 2007. The affair ended only after James Trimm got caught and was confronted about his sins by Rob Miller. James filed for divorce against his wife but cancelled the divorce (yet still incurred legal debts just the same).
2007 Sep 6 - I called for a vote/motion to discipline James Trimm in response to the adultery and invites a discussion of the severity of the disciplinary action and Tom Mitchell resigned from the Beit Din. Later that day Richard Green proposed suspending James from the INBD for 6 months. Daniel Harris, TC Carr and Eric Sandquist all voted in favor of the motion and Rob Miller voted against it. Enough votes existed that the motion could have been declared passed at this point, but the chair did not know that Tom Mitchell had resigned and was waiting for one more vote (that it turned out wasn't really needed). Joe Viel held out voting because he thought the sentence was too light and wanted a stiffer sentence. But at this point, the fact that James would be punished was a foregone conclusion - the only question that remained was how severely he would be punished.

Joe Viel held out voting because he thought the sentence was too light and wanted a stiffer sentence. But at this point, the fact that James would be punished was a foregone conclusion - the only question that remained was how severely he would be punished.
Sept 7-8 - Since it was Sabbath, the INBD did nothing. Also, with Richard in New Zealand, the INBD's "Sabbath" rest from motions, trials, etc., is usually nearly 2 full days because we count our "sabbath rest" from INBD business from the time the Sabbath starts for the earliest member until it ends for the latest member. So that usually creates almost two full days of no business with members in both hemispheres.
Sept 11 - 5 days passed as the INBD debated making the punishment more severe. James Trimm claimed the INBD could not punish him because they were not a body of 23 men. James Trimm was offered a trial by a jury of 23 men but he turned it down saying he would rather be tried by the 7 members of the Beit Din. However, he would still protest the next day that the INBD could not punish him because they didn't have 23 men, despite the fact that he earlier turned down a trial by 23 men.
So discussion engaged as to HOW SEVERE the punishment of James Trimm should be.
Sept 12 - Clarification was made on what it took for a conviction. The INBD follows Robert's Rules as well as Tractate Sanhedrin. Robert's Rules requires a 2/3 vote to discpline a member. Tractate Sanhedrin requires a majority of 2 votes or more. Thus the INBD needed BOTH a 2/3 majority AS WELL AS a 2 vote margin. Thus a vote of 4-2, 4-1, 5-1 or 5-0 would work. 3-2 would not. 2-1 would not. 1-0 would not. Also, the INBD has always recognized Robert's Rules and rule # 64 requires that at least 4 people (a majority of the membership) must vote for any measure to pass. If only 3 members of the Beit Din vote, it can be 3-0, but that is not enough people CASTING a vote in order for a measure to be considered official.
James Trimm indeed pointed out these issues and argued that 3 votes would not be enough to punish him even if it was 3-0, and he was right about that because we needed at least 4 votes, a 2/3 majority, and two more YES votes than NO votes.
At 11:08, Daniel Harris announced he would not be available for the next several days. The rest of us decided that nothing would get done until he returned.
Sept 13 - Rosh HaShanah on the Hillel Calendar
James Trimm conducted a "Rosh HaShanah Coup de' etat" by sending the following "motion" by email to the members of the INBD on Rosh HaShanah while some members of the Beit Din were in Rosh HaShanah services (others recognized a different calendar). I put "motion" in quotes because he is under indictment at the time, and according to Robert's Rules number 75, a member under indictment is not eligible to make motions and because the INBD NEVER conducts business on either the Hillel Sabbath days or the Karaite Sabbath days or other known calendar Shabbats.

I make a motion that:
Those who took part in the recent fraudulent elections step down for a
period of at least six months.
James did not identify who "Those who took part" were. He did not name any names. He simply emailed this in to all the members of the Beit Din on a Sabbath day in which INBD rules forbid business. Next, he sends in the following email.....

I believe that only Joe, myself and Rabbi Miller can vote on this and
a 2/3 super majority simply requires two of us. I got my vote in
already while this body still recognizes my right to vote.
Well the INBD was NOT recognizing his right to vote because under Robert's Rules, which James reminded us several times the INBD was suppose to follow, an indicted member cannot vote or make motions. But he decided on his own that 4 of the 7 members could not vote.
At 9:55 Rob Miller "seconded" the Rosh HaShanah Coo "motion" by email. James asks him to vote, but Rob refrains from voting on it and instead says, "I will show mercy - "Step down for six months."" James decided to count Rob Millers refusal to vote "YES" and instead call for resignations as a "YES" vote anyway even though it was not a "YES" vote!
At 10:05, James Trimm declares the Rosh HaShanah Coo "motion" to have passed by a 2/3 majority vote. Never mind that INBD rules require 4 people to vote in order for many measure to pass. Never mind this was well short of 2/3 of that minimum of 4. That only matters when James Trimm is on trial. When James Trimm puts someone else on trial by his own accord, rules of justice are not important.
Let's recap......
8:02am => James makes a "motion" by email.
10:05am=> James declares his "motion" to have passed by a 2/3 vote DESPITE the fact that 5 of the 7 members of the Beit Din have not voted on it , refuses to vote on things on weekly or annual Sabbaths, and of course would not suspect anyone is even TRYING to conduct business since it was Rosh HaShanah. And despite the fact that he previously said at least 3 members must vote and must vote to discipline him for any action to be taken. And despite the fact that TC, Eric, Daniel, and Richard did not even know that there was a "motion" against them at this time!!!!!
YES....that's right.....James simply went through a charade on his Rosh HaShanah Coo and told 4 members of the Beit Din that they had been voted off by rules James Trimm invented as he went along, using "rules" (if they can even be called "rules") that violated what he said were the correct procedure beforehand. James Trimm demanded a trial of 23 men and then turned it down, but did not give these men time to even respond and plead guilty or innocent or give them a chance to ask for a trial by 23 men or fewer. He didn't even tell TC, Eric, Daniel, and Richard that they were the 4 who were being "motioned" against until after he had declared the "motion" to have passed!!!!!!!
What's worse, Eric didn't even vote in the election James was whining about. I have no knowledge that he was involved in that election in any way. There was no evidence he did anything. But that didn't stop James from drumming up charges against him. No one on the INBD knew if Daniel Harris voted or had any involvement in the election James was complaining about either. But a lack of knowledge didn't stop James from declaring Daniel guilty.
Rob Miller "seconded" the "motion" for the Rosh HaShanah Coo but never casted any kind of "yes" vote. When asked to vote, he refrained voting for the Rosh HaShanah Coo and instead called on the unnamed accused to resign. But he never cast any sort of vote.
I protested James' pretensions but he ignored it and began talking as if the INBD had just passed his "motion", when the 4 men accused had not even read their email in the 2 hours that passed to even know that James was accusing anyone of anything.
I told James Trimm that this violated the principle of Due Process, which is summed up in John 7:51 which says....
"Does our law condemn
anyone without first hearing
him to find out what he is
doing?"" (John 7:51)
Jewish Law has never trials without the accused being present. The Bible condemns the idea. But James Trimm did exactly that to 4 of the 7 members of the Beit Din. Our American Legal system would never allow it, because it violates the Constitutional requirement of "Due Process", but James' comment on that was simply, "I don't remember ever voting for Due Process." What's worse is that he did this on Rosh HaShanah when he could easily calculate would be a time no one would even be available to protest. The INBD does not meet for business on Sabbaths - never has. No attempt to make motions on a Sabbath either in a meeting or out of a meeting pending the next meeting time has EVER been recognized by the INBD. But of course James knew that and used the "cover of the Sabbath" (as someone else James falsely compares himself to once put it) to make certain no one (except PERHAPS a person or two not following the Hillel Calendar) would respond to his evil deeds before he completed the task.

Note: Since the INBD respects diversity of opinion on the calendar issue, we have always refrained from conducting business on the Hillel annual Sabbaths, on the Karaite annual Sabbaths, and any other calendar date we might possible be made aware one of our members might have conviction about.
I told the other 4 members of the Beit Din that if James Trimm was going to act with this kind of lack of concern for justice, he does not belong on any kind of court. They agreed and the debate on HOW SEVERELY he should be punished came to an end. While the Beit Din had a 5-1 agreement on WHETHER James should be punished on Sept 6th, it was at this point that all debate ended on how severerly. James Trimm was completely removed from the International Nazarene Beit Din.
James Trimm has since tried to recast these events as a "hijacking" similar to what happened to Michael Rood, which is odd since only a few weeks earlier he had told me how wrong Michael Rood had been and how his friend Michael Detweiller had a legitimate right to remove Michael Rood from that ministry. But in reality it was James Trimm who used the tactics that the associates of Michael Detweiler used to remove Michael Rood from office and violated the Sabbath knowing that those who disagreed with him would NOT violate the Sabbath by engaging in INBD business on Rosh HaShanah to try and lock someone out of their office.
But in reality, no one tried to take over James Trimm's ministry. He still has his SANJ / INJS ministry. Nobody on the INBD wants James Trimm's ministry. The SANJ / INJS name has been sullied by James public failures. In fact SANJ was kicked out of the INBD umbrella for its cheating people out of money even before James had been put on trial for adultery because the INBD wants NO ASSOCIATION with the name of James Trimm or his ministry or ministry names he has used in the past.
But a Beit Din, in order to BE a Beit Din, cannot be "OWNED" by any one person. It exists in order to hold ministries accountable for their conduct. A Beit Din is not a ministry owned by any one person but a judicial body that is empowered to hold people accountable for their misconduct. That is what the INBD did to James Trimm - they held him accountable for cheating on his wife and cheating many people out of their money.
The fact that James Trimm is trying to allege that he "owns" the rights to a Beit Din at all should be enough to tell you that he is in the wrong here. No one person CAN hold the rights to any sort of Beit Din. That would make them a supreme dictator, and the other "judges" nothing but rubber stamp figureheads that are there for show only. All members of a Beit Din must have equal power in order for the Beit Din to be a legitimate Court and to be able to hold each other accountable. but James Trimm doesn't want to be held acocuntable for his sins.
James Trimm has also misrepresented what I have promoted about what should be the relationship between Jewish and Gentile believers. If you listen to James, you might get the impression I've been calling on all Jews to give up Judaism in favor of Christianity just in time to put up a Christmas tree or something. In reality, all I have said is that the term "Nazarene" was historically used for both Jews and Gentiles and was a word used to describe what they have in common faith-wise, and that there are other words to describe what they don't have in common. I still think Christians who embrace Torah will recieve a higher reward in the world to come as a result of it. I just have simply been saying that there are things we have in common with them and things we don't and that historically there have been words to describe both commonality and differences.
And I also find it odd that James can bash the Gentile church so badly and speak out against any attempt to even share a simply name with Gentile Christians, but seek some of the deepest levels of unity with Mormonism!!!! It was recently brought ot my attention that James Trimm was a member of a group called "Mormon-Kaballah" as recently as 2006. And he wasn't signed on as "Rabbi Yoseph" but as "James Trimm". WOW!!!! Even the most peripheral level of unity with the Church is bashed as "going back to Egypt" but being so immersed in Mormon thought that we even get into Mormon Kaballism is totally OK!!!! Christians believe in one God, in the idea that Yeshua was G-d in the flesh, and that his death/resurrection saves us from sins. Mormons don't. They think the Father was once a man like me and you and later become the "god" of a planet. They think you too will one day become a "god". And James Trimm reaches out to these people with some of the openest of arms that are possible, while at the same time decrying unity with those who believe in one Creator.
And if the Church is too evil for us to share the name "Nazarene" with them, then why does James hold Paltalk broadcasts in under the "Christian" category? He doesn't mind categorizing himself a "Christian" to use Paltalk's services. (There are other similar websites that don't require Messianic Jews to call themselves "Christians". He simply chooses to use a website that doesn't like us as much as others.)
Now there is a REASON as to why such a thing as a "quorum" exists. A "quorum" is the minimum number of people who must vote in order for something to be considered an action of the organization. The INBD has always not only followed the minimum of 4 (majority of 7 total members) required by Robert's Rules but we almost NEVER take a vote without giving every member at least a chance to vote. Very rarely we've passed measures with one person absent. But to do what James Trimm did and pass something by himself on Sabbath when you know no one will be around and pretend it was a full fledged action of the body despite a lack of quorum is horrible dishonest. Quorums exist so that people CANNOT DO EXACTLY WHAT JAMES TRIMM IS TRYING TO DO RIGHT NOW - and that is to prevent people from falsely passing off the actions of a single person or a small number of people as the actions of the entire organization!
Now the Torah way is for something to be established by not only 2 or 3 witnesses , but as many as possible. James Trimm is trying to fool people into thinking that he is still a member of the INBD when he is not. But it is actually mathematically impossible for a 7 man Beit Din to do what James Trimm claimed happened. James claimed that the 7 man INBD removed 4 members. That's not mathematically possible. The rules the INBD adopted does not permit someone charged with an offense to vote, and putting 4 men on trial leaves only 3 eligible to vote, and denies the possibility of a quorum. When the majority is in the wrong, all one can do is leave the organization and possibly form a new one. But rules are only for people who CARE about justice. James Trimm has proven by his actions that he has no concern for justice, only getting the outcome he wants.
Hopefully you now know the truth about the men James Trimm has falsely accused in public. Pass this on to anyone you know that is a member of James Trimm's organizations, lists, etc, and let them know that James Trimm is now censoring these kind of replies and doesn't want you to know what he REALLY did. The INBD did not remove James Trimm from his ministry (INJS / SANJ / etc) but only from the court of Justice that his ministry was SUPPOSE to be accountable to. For James Trimm to try and decieve the public into thinking that he is still on the INBD is a huge attempt at deception. James is trying very hard ot put up a lot of smoke and mirrors to keep you from knowing the REAL reason he was removed from the Court of Justice that his ministry USED to report to.

(mod note)
Thanks, Daniel. However please keep in mind that these Trimm-epiphanies are from the principal culprits, facilitators, supporters, of the long-term HRV plagiarism sham that has been like a leech sucking the blood of the Internet Messianic community.
Joe Viel stayed on the Beit Din for years after the plagiarism was exposed and suppressed exposure of this on email lists whenever he could. While Eric Sandquist ran and shilled the censored Trimm email forums and set up the net stuff for James and also remained on the Beit Din.
Thus one should not get too involved in a pot-kettle battle as there was never anyone "Legally" involved in the sham Beit Din at any time. Those with a modicum of integrity left that supposed "Beit Din" years ago.
Those who want to review the HRV plagiarism sham can read the article that is now almost four years old, and (with grateful thanks to Kathryn) has laid this issue of the Trimm HRV 'scholarship' and integrity and plagiarism to rest long ago.

James Trimm - Hebraic-Roots Version NT Plagiarism
It is significant to mention that these folks never made any public (or afaik private) protest or objection to the Marshall K 'Jezebel screed', the sick attack. (Against the women who had the public integrity, while these men were silent as a fault, to report so much years ago .. most notably Kathryn exposing the plagiarism sham through diligent research and also Vicky.) That sick attack has, even unto this day, left all the Marshall and Trimm factions and cowed, silent supporters with spiritual blood on their hands. The most important remaining issue is a sincere and public apology to Kathryn and Vicky from all those who have been been part of the Trimm deception, and particularly by the author Marshall K (Moshe Yoseph Koniuchowsky) and his supporters.
Till you hear those words sincerely and publicly from these men who now claim to be the 'good guys', my advice to you is to trust absolutely none of their words. Afterwards, a time of reflection and consideration is in order.
