It's being 'into guys' that seems to be a theological impasse. How do you get around THIS issue & adhere to your faith?
Well, I wrestled with those questions myself for YEARS. However, several years ago - Rabbi Elliot Dorff wrote a paper that was a detailed analysis of the Torah. His conclusion was that the prohibition Moshe wrote was against AnalSex, -not the genders of the couple! He did a good job presenting his arguments. At roughly the same time, there was another group of men that had come to the same conclusion - using both Old & New Testaments of the Bible; --Locking down a much more comprehensive theological position that echo'd what Dr. Dorff had concluded! Ironically, this rapidly growing group of men calls themselves: 'g0ys' -spelled w. a ZER0! G0YS.org was founded with an intense respect for Jewish history & insight. So, g0ys welcomes all men who happen to luv on other guys (and Messianic Jews) too. A main function of the movement is to share the fact that the Scriptures themselves CLEARLY testify that G0D/Scripture has never condemned same-gender pair-bonding; -But, such recent condemnation is the result of lazy, slack theological translation & bias.
