I think that you should be able to hit "reply" when viewing on the Web and
then have a choice whether to reply to the list or to the individual
person. It still list the e-mail address truncated, but it let's you e-mail
them. I just tried it, and it worked for me. Please let me know if it
works for you.

That makes sense. I'll mess around with it and see what I can do.
Joe
Yes I do read the messages through the website so that I can read
them at work during the day and not have to read 100+ e-mails when
I get home.
I am hoping that there is a way to change the default settings...
otherwise anyone wishing to contact me privately should e-mail
pclarke@....

Sounds to me like Paul has his Onelist account set to view messages on the
website, as opposed to having them delivered to him in e-mail. Am I right?
If so, the e-mail addresses appear in truncated form on the website version
in order to discourage spammers, as anyone can view the message history even
if they're not subscribed.

Joe,
That's just it... the e-mail address is incomplete, as is mine
All I get is rdb@n...
Is there a way to see the entire address? Also is there a way
to sort the messages by date descending so you see the newest
messages first.

It should say his e-mail address right above his message - like it does
yours above. (eg: "From: pclarke@...")
Joe
Well Bob, it looks like I will have to reply to the whole group to
answer you since I can't see your entire e-mail address, nor can
I figure out a way to reply just to you.
I have been away for the past two weeks but I have answered every
e-mail that I received through http://www.drmego.com since coming
home.
Please send an e-mail to drmego@... to let me what items
you are interested in and I will be happy to get back to you.
oops! Sorry about the group post I though if I replied to his post it would just
go to the sender and not the whole list. Anyway that message was for Dr. Mego!

I think that it's a cool idea for a custom head but I don't own
either Playmates figure, nor would I be willing to shrink the
head. If someone else is, and would like me to repro them,
please let me know.

Hello, I e-mailed you about a week ago about buying some more parts and never
herd back from you. Do you still have my e-mail, or have you just not gotten to
it yet? I was interested in some ape parts.

I was wondering what the good doctor would think about repro-ing
shrunken-to-Mego-scale Sulu and Chekov heads? I don't have the
talent to shrink or repro, but would love to get ahold of these
heads!

I'm all for original figures - that's why I love knockoffs like the
Magnificent Pirates and why I'd probably love what you've proposed as well.
Very cool.
Joe
Actually I am speaking to a toy designer about producing new
Megos using bodies made in China. I will keep this list posted
(no pun) about developments...but they will be original,
non-lincensed
figures.

I hope so too! Glad to see you here Paul. Now please go repro all of us
Romulans identical to the originals in every respect, but only costing
$10.00. <grin>
Joe
So . . . anyone found any decent Megos for a decent price lately? Went
to a toyshow this last weekend and, with a few exceptions, prices
sucked. A MIB Superman for $450, a MOC Spiderman for $150 . . . you get
the picture.
I got a nude Green Arrow for $10, a weird teen-titan-sized bible great
female (a teen titan body with breasts) for $5, and a bunch of
Mego-sized Marx Safari figures, animals, cage, and a jeep for $175.
More and more, the toy shows stink and, dare I say it, I tend to find
better deals on eBay. I never thought that day would come.
So, how about you? And good off-eBay deals lately? (or on-eBay deals,
for that matter)

Are they out yet? After being impressed with the Dracula, I'm tempted to
also get the Phantom whenever it's released. I have two Dracula's, by the
way, which is why I'm selling one.

I like having the Wants/Sales/Trade posts on a certain day, too. And I like
almost
any talk about action figures, though I wouldn't want to be on a GI Joe or
Famous
Covers list....I guess as long as the content is *mostly* Mego or Mego-related,
I
wouldn't really mind. Unless it gets out of hand. Then, you'd have to step in
and kick some ass....

Boy, I hadn't thought that far ahead yet. :) What do you think? Personally, I
like some off-topic stuff, and I kind of like their being a specific day to
post for-sale stuff.

shan't be castigated (or casterated) or removed. <g>
