And all other interested GM . . .
Since there looks to be slots open, just send me a write up for your games, how many players, day and time.
If you want I will also have your e-mail listed with the entry so gamers can get in touch with you to ask questions and sign up.
Get me a .jpeg or logo for the game I will try and have that on the web page also.
And like usual, you get in free on the day you run a game.
Hope that helps.

Joe

Absolutely...that helps a lot actually. 8) I'm trying to get a couple
of friends to run a few games too. I don't remember if there was any
WoD going and I know they do some of that among other games. I'll do
some writeups around the weekend (plane rides are good for that sorta
thing ;) ) and get it all to you as soon as I can!

To Whom it May Concern....

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, our best
wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low
stress, non-addictive, gender neutral celebration of the winter
solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of
the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of
your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions

religious or secular traditions at all.

In addition, please also accept our best wishes for a fiscally
successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated
recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year
2009, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of
other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make this
country great (not to imply that this country is necessarily greater
than any other country or area of choice), and without regard to the
race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual

This wish is limited to the customary and usual good tidings for a
period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday
greeting, whichever comes first. "Holiday" is not intended to, nor

This just in from Karen . . .

Hi -
I'm Karen from Anime Festival Orlando, we are the group which hosts
the video gaming that you will find on the showroom floor at Mega
Con.

Unfortunately we don't do any PC gaming, and usually avoid anything
that is story intensive because it doesn't allow for "sharing" of
the systems.

We are strictly console gaming: XBOX, Wii, PS 2/PS3 etc...
We'll have a variety of shooters, puzzle, music (Rockband/Guitar
Hero/DDR...) and so on. Keep in mind we will try to have the latest
games on hand for you to try.

We also host tournaments during the weekend. A schedule will be
available closer to the show.

As always, like life this is subject to change with out notice, but
no matter what you can be sure you'll have a good time.

Thanks for asking.

David,

We'll be back in 2009 with our Vampire: The Masquerade LARP that we
have run at MegaCon for the past several years. If you are running any
other kinds of WoD games, I am sure we would be interested in seeing
what you have going on.

Feel free to drop me a line.

Hey Joe,

Thanks for putting my event on the gaming page at the main Megacon
site. May I make a suggestion to you (or the webmaster for that page
it it's not you?) Put "section" links at the top of the page and "back
to the top" links at the end of each section. (i.e. Board Gaming,
Miniature Games, Other Games, etc.) Because that page is just WAY too
long to scroll down through. Yes, I'm lazy by nature, but most website
designers recommend that you do not make a page that scrolls down more
than two pages equivalent as there are a lot of impatient/lazy people
out there. (Gawrsh. Gamers lazy? Impatient? Perish the thought.)

Anyway, just a suggestion. Please don't beat me...

Is this RPG Gaming Schedule for MegaCon still under contstruction at
this time? I'm making plans to visit, but might need to replan this
trip if there isn't more tabletop gaming fleshed out. I was also
hoping to see some organized play of the "Witch Hunter: Dark

I do not believe the two games you mentioned are on tap at this time.
The RPG events posted on the MegaCon site are those in what we call the Showcase room.
The remainder of the RPG games should be listed on the Warhorn site.
I checked and there is nothing there yet.  I will try and find out what the holdout is.
As soon as I find something I will post to let everyone know.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

To Paul at Mindgames,

Sure! Be aware that the flyer I have created concentrates on gaming
as it is aimed at attracting gamers to Megacon. I'm afraid it
doesn't mention much else.

Also, please send me an email with your full email address as I can't

Hi Joe,

I'm prepping the Hot Wheels Race Rally materials. The track, cars,
tables and extras are all ready. I'm currently constructing a dry-
erase "scoreboard" so that people can see their standing at a glance
as they walk by. (And it also serves as a good way to attract
attention.)

I'm going on the assumption that power will NOT be available down in
the hall so I'm not going to bring any computers or my PS2 with
Guitar Hero II (which is too bad.) But if this changes, please let
me know. If the convention center offers power in my location for a
reasonable rate (say, no more than $50. for the weekend) then I might
pay for it out of my own pocket.

Besides the HWRR, I also plan to set up my BattleMasters Total War
game down there with me. It will run all weekend. People can sit
down, learn to play, then stop in and play whenever they feel like it.

I will also have a selection of "quick" games for people to pick up
and play (this is where I will need a few tables) whenever they want
to stop by. The rest of my games will be available to loan to
the "boardgame room" wherever that ends up being. If you need a
specific list of what I have to loan, just let me know.

John -
Looking forward to seeing HWRR in action.
Power is a no go where we are.
Guitar Hero may actually be running in another area of the con that runs console and PC games so your set up would duplicating.
There should be several spare tables in the main hall on Friday and Sunday.  I am not sure about Saturday, but I'm guessing there still should be free tables.
Board Gaming looks to be big on Saturday, but there will be not be much on Friday and Sunday.  I should have free space in the room that is running HeroClix, but I'm not sure how who will be keeping an eye on your things there.  I'm thinking that since there will be open tables in the hall you could keep them with you those days.
Do you want early access to the main hall ahead of time to bring things in when there are less people around?  If so let me know.
I hope I've answered your questions?
See you soon,
Joe
BTW, that flier looked great.

Sure -
Just go to the MegaCon web site and click open gaming.  You'll find the schedule of events there.
Later,
Joe
