THE 9TH ANNIVERSARY OF FR.SLAVKO'S DEATH COMMEMORATED

We celebrated ninth anniversary of late Fr.Slavko's death who died on November 24, 2000 at 3.30 on the top of the Cross Mountain after having completed the Way of the Cross. Numerous parishoners and pilgrims climbed the Cross Mountian praying the Way of the Cross at 2 p.m. that was led by Fr. Vjekoslav Milicevic. At 6 p.m. Fr. Danko Perutina celebrated Holy Mass in the parish church along with 18 other priests that concelebrated.

PILGRIMAGE OF THE POOR AND HOMELESS FROM ZAGREB TO MEDJUGORJE

Christian Association Kup Karmel has organised on November 17th and 18th pilgrimage of about hundred poor and homeless people from Zagreb and few other towns from Croatia to Medjugorje and to the Queen of Peace. During their time in Medjugorj they visited Apparition Hill, they were present at the prayer and liturgical programme in the parish church of St. James, and they visited Mother’s Village.

In the interview for radio station “Mir” Medjugorje, dr. Mikl said how he heard about Medjugorje in 1983, and soon afterwards came to this pilgrimage place with two of his friends.

10th International Seminar for Married Couples

10th International seminar for married couples began on Wednesday, November 4th in Medjugorje with theme: “Love never stops nor it becomes exhausted.” In the afternoon hours, coordinator of the seminar Dr.Fr. Miljenko Steko, opened seminar, and then parish priest Fr. Petar Vlasic greeted all the present. Seminar, that lasts until Saturday, November 7th, is led by Dr. Fr. Ante Vuckovic, member of the Franciscan Province of Most Holy Redeemer, professor on Catholic Theological University, as well as on Faculty of Arts, University of Split. This International seminar is simultaneously translated in several world languages.

Message of August  25, 2009

“Dear children! Today I call you anew to conversion. Little children, you are not holy enough and you do not radiate holiness to others, therefore pray, pray, pray and work on your personal conversion, so that you may be a sign of God’s love to others. I am with you and am leading you towards eternity, for which every heart should yearn. Thank you for having responded to my call.”
 
 
The call to conversion, which is a precondition for holiness, which imbues this message, has been known to us from before. At the moment when the disciples want to discuss with Jesus as who is the greatest in the Kingdom of God, Jesus teaches them that converts are the greatest and that conversion is a precondition of life with Jesus in the Kingdom of God. For full 28 years has Our Lady been calling us to conversion. The call to conversion can be understood and accepted only in prayer. For it is actually in prayer, in the meeting with Christ, that we are imbued with the need for the change of our own being, for the conformity with Christ.  
 
To covert – means to come back to one’s own soul, to one’s own being, to the image in which God created me, and that is the image of holiness.
 
Be holy because I am holy, said Jesus, and this call of His should be our lasting inspiration. Today the Church celebrates St. Monica who by her self-sacrificing motherly love obtained by prayer the conversion of her son whom we honor as St. Augustine.
 
Holiness is to be obtained by prayer, it is the reflection of our spiritual life with Christ. It is with responsibility that we should listen to and accept this message by which the Mother is calling us to conversion. For, as long as we are not converted, we shall not be able to intercede for the conversion of others and to be a sign of God’s love in the world.
 
Therefore this month we are going to pray for the following intentions:

For the gift of personal conversion.
For the gift of openness to Jesus and to the incentives of the Holy Spirit.
For the gift of prayer so that all members of our prayer family may be Mary’s army today, who with the rosary in their hands will by prayer obtain peace and blessing for the whole world.

REFLECTION ON THE MESSAGE of 25th June 2009

On the 28th Anniversary of the presence of Our Lady with us through Medjugorje we are rejoicing indeed with our Blessed Mother and we give thanks to God for this great and wonderful gift, a unique phenomenon in the history of the Church. Our Lady as the Queen of Peace told us the purpose of her mission 28 years ago, on 26th June 1981: I want to be with you to convert and reconcile the whole world.

In order to achieve the purpose of her mission. The first important task for Our Lady was to convert us all, all her willing children, to become a reflection of Jesus through holiness of life and this to become witnesses to the presence of Our Lady, with us through the joyful conversion of our life, centered on God, as Our Lady told us 25th July, 1989:
  • Dear Children, I am calling you to renew your heart. Open yourselves to God and surrender to Him all your difficulties and crosses so that God may turn everything into joy. My Dear Children, you cannot open yourselves to God if you do not pray. Therefore, from today, decide to consecrate a time in the day for an encounter with God in silence. In that way, one with God, you will be able to witness my presence her. My dear children, I do not wish to compel you; rather, freely give God your time like children of God. Thank you for having responded to my call.
As we look around the world, we sense the grave dangers facing all of humanity and we realize the important task for us, children of God and Our Lady, to be apostles of Jesus in our time. In the Old Testament God sent prophets to His people to teach them to live by the laws of God and to turn away from pagan gods. They did not listen to the call of the prophets and we know what has happened to His people.

In our time God sent His Mother, the Queen of Prophets, to teach and guide us with her motherly love to live the Gospel and thus to help her save the world. The Second Vatican Council gave us a beautiful teaching about the role of Our Lady in the Church, on the Dogmatic Institution of the Church, Lumen Gentium, Chapter 8. It is clearly stated that She is the Mother, the Teacher and Model of the Church (No.63). Through her mission through Medjugorje Our Lady is doing what the Church teaches us about her mission.

Our Lady and Mirjana are praying on the second day of every month for the unbelievers. Unbelievers are not only pagans who have never been baptized and people of non – Christian religions, but also many lapsed Catholics. Also we should join Our Lady and Mirjana in the spirit and to make sacrifices for the unbelievers, and so to become the extended hands of Our Lady and by our example to draw others to the love of God as Our Lady told us on 25th November, 2004:
  • Dear Children, pray especially for those who have not yet come to know the love of God and do not seek God the Saviour. You, my dear children, be my extended hands and by your example draw them closer to my Heart and to the Heart of my Sons. God will reward you with graces and every blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.
In receiving the motherly blessing of Our Lady, we should be joyful in becoming her extended hands.

Ok, one last time posting from me, sorry. But here is a message from Ivan tonight on Apparition Hill.

Today Nedjo's wife Mirjana said too for the evening Mass for this Anniversary it was raining the whole time but there are many people in Medjugorje with big crowds.

Tonight everyone just came from Apparition Hill for Ivan's prayer group apparition.

Ivan says that it is really difficult to put into words this meeting this evening with Our Lady, this enormous happiness and Joy on Our Lady's face and in her eyes!

Our Lady came very very happy and she blessed everyone with her motherly blessing. She prayed over everyone with extended hands. Ivan recommended everyone, everyone's needs, desires, families and especially the sick that were present.

After this Our Lady said:

Dear Children, And today I wish to call you to live my messages. Today I gave you all the message, accept my messages, live my messages that your mother can give you new messages. Thank you my dear children that you have accepted me, that you have accepted my messages and that you live my messages.

Let us really start today to take these messages seriously if we haven't already. Today we can make a new start.

The visionary Ivanka Ivankovic-Elez had her regular annual apparition on June 25th 2009. According to the visionaries, Vicka, Marija and Ivan continue to have daily apparitions, and Mirjana, Ivanka and Jakov have an annual apparition.
At Her last daily apparition on May 7, 1985, Our Lady confided to Ivanka the 10th secret and told her that she would have an apparition once a year on the anniversary of the apparitions. It was that way also this year. The apparition lasted 10 minutes. Ivanka had the apparition at home in the presence of her family, her husband and her three children.

After the apparition, the visionary Ivanka said:

PRAY FOR THE COMING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

"Dear children! In this time, I call you all to pray for the coming of the Holy Spirit upon every baptized creature, so that the Holy Spirit may renew you all and lead you on the way of witnessing your faith – you and all those who are far from God and His love. I am with you and intercede for you before the Most High. Thank you for having responded to my call." Message of May 25, 2009

Before his Ascension Jesus told his disciples not to leave Jerusalem , but to wait for the promise given by his Father that they would receive the strength of the Holy Spirit and would be His witnesses not only in Jerusalem , but to the ends of the earth. After he said this, he was taken up to his Father (cf. Acts 1:4-9). The disciples and apostles were preparing for this coming through prayer. They were not alone. Mary, the Mother of Jesus, was with them. Among those present she was the only one who had the fullness of the Holy Spirit that had come upon her at the conception of Jesus. She must have encouraged the disciples to abandon fear and to take practice of fervent prayer. Before the coming of the Holy Spirit the apostles and disciples were timid, fearful. When the Holy Spirit came upon them, they changed. From timid disciples they were transformed into fearless witnesses of Christ. They witnessed what they had seen and heard when they were with Jesus. The flame of love and truth lit inside them encouraged them to immediately start announcing the Joyful News.

In her message of 25 May 2009 Our Lady calls us also to pray for the coming of the Holy Spirit upon every baptized creature. We have become the children of God through baptism and have entered into communion with Jesus and his act of redemption. Our Lady calls us to pray because prayer is a means that opens our hearts so that the Spirit of God can operate in it. Opening up to the Holy Spirit leads to a renewal of spiritual life encouraging us to bear witness to our faith. We, Christians, have been called to be carriers of the message of God in this world, of the Word of God and to spread the acts of the love of God. Mary, our mother and intercessor, the teacher of prayer to the Holy Spirit helps us to do this. Together with Mary we pray that the Spirit of the Truth and Love operates in us and around us, that it teaches us and makes us stronger in order for us to live a new life doing the will of God.

Today, May 29, 2009, was a sunny cool day in Medjugorje. Later clouds drifted in and drops of rain fell as pilgrims finished the praying of the Rosary and the singing of the Litany of Mary at St. James Church.

Pilgrims gathered around the statue of Our Lady on Apparition Mountain in anticipation of the apparition of the Virgin Mary to Ivan at his Friday night prayer group. They met tonight at the top of Apparition Mountain.

Small groups of peoples quietly prayed and sang together as early evening began. The sun finally left its trace as the horizon began to turn a dull red color.

As darkness arrived on this starless night, more people cams as the singing grew louder and the praying of the Sorrowful Mysteries at the Rosary was begun by the prayer group.

Our Lady appeared to Ivan just before 10:00 p.m., and the apparition lasted approximately 8 minutes. After the apparition to Ivan on Apparition Mountain at 10:00p.m., Ivan said:

“The most important from the meeting with Our Lady tonight is that Our Lady came happy and joyful and at the beginning She greeted us all with Her usual Motherly greeting, ‘Praised be Jesus, my dear children.’

Afterwards Our Lady, especially for a time, with Her arms extended, prayed over all of us here. She especially prayed for the sick.

 

She then blessed us all with Her Motherly blessing and She blessed all that you brought to be blessed.

Then I recommended to Her all of you and all of your needs, your intentions, your families and especially the sick.

After that, for a longer time, Our Lady especially prayed for priests and for vocations on the Church

Then I prayed an Our Father and a Glory Be with Our Lady and Our Lady left in prayer in an illuminated sign of the cross with a greeting, ‘Go in peace my dear children.’

 

As you know, four days ago Our Lady gave a message for the entire world. That is the most recent message to which Our Lady calls us, and additionally today She especially calls us to pray for priests and for vocations in the Church.”

 

Community members are working long hours to meet the deadline date of June 1st for the launching of the new site at 12:00 noon, CST, this Monday. Though only 1/5th of the site will be completed, there still will be much to see, and we are excited seeing it coming together. We will continue to move forward to complete each section until its completion, adding to the new site several major sections per week.

Mirjana also said that Our Lady was not sad.

Local Bishop Removes Mass at Oasis of Peace


Medjugorje USA has learned that the community called "Oasis of Peace" located in Medjugorje has been prohibited from having any more Masses or Adorations, per order of the local bishop of Mostar, Ratko Peric.  We have learned Bishop Peric has also forbid further confessions in Oasis of Peace and also will no longer allow Medjugorje Visionary Marija Povlovic to have her apparitions in the Community.

This appears to be a continued campaign of the local Bishop attempts to keep his open negative opinions against the Medjugorje apparitions alive and in the media. The Medjugorje apparitions have been taken away from the local Bishop and former Bishop's jurisdiction because of previous negative tainted Commissions. The third  newly Medjugorje Commission was formed in September of 06 under the authority of the Vatican.

Where O Where Has Community Cenacolo Gone?

Community Cenacolo is an organization founded by Sister Elvira Petrozzi in 1983. A member of the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity in Italy, Sister Elvira felt a strong desire to reach out to young people who had taken a wrong path. It took some years before Sister's Superiors granted permission, meanwhile Sister Elvira says she felt like a volcano inside, prayed much and never gave up hope.

Though it was not fit to live in, an old ruined house in Saluzzo, Italy was leased to the Sisters and the project began. That run down old building became the Mother House of Community Cenacolo, a worldwide organization with over 33 fraternities throughout Italy, France, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina (Medjugorje), Ireland, Brazil, Austria, Dominican Republic, USA (Florida) and Mexico.

Community Cenacolo accommodated about 900 young men and women. Many are drug addicted desperate lost souls. Passing through the doors of Community Cenacolo, these young people begin to feel hope and a sense of being, and family. The aim of the Community is to renew the family; to help the families meet Jesus Christ, Savior and Redeemer, also, to bring support, love, healing and faith.

In February of 09, the Bishop of Mostar who has jurisdiction over the Medjugorje region has made yet another bold demand in his continuation to stop Our Lady's apparitions. Medjugorje USA received reports from reliable sources that the Bishop has written a letter to visionary Mirjana stating her public apparition held at the Community Cenacolo on the 2nd of each month, must stop. To ensure the public apparitions stop, the Bishop also wrote a letter to Community Cenacolo Medjugorje founder, Sister Elvira. As a result of this letter Sister Elvira received from the Bishop, Medjugorje USA have been told Sister Elvira will be obedient to the orders from the Bishop.

Since Feb. 09 Visionary Mirjana has had her monthly apparition in her own home and now at the well know site in Medjugorje called "Blue Cross." Since the Bishop has forbid the apparitions to continue at Community Cenacolo, Community Cenacolo's website which has been a great source for drug addicted teens to find help has been removed from the internet. Upon investigation Medjugorje USA has learned that the Cenacolo website is complete down and the domain name associated with Cenacolo is for sale to anyone.

Medjugorje USA has tried its best to contact everyone we can to find out what has happened to this much needed source on the internet but either no one knows or no one is talking. It could also be possible that the influence of the Bishop of Mostar has spilled over beyond just the Community Cenacolo in Medjugorje and now Sister Elvira may have been forced to take down the website because of the demands of Sister Elvia's superiors.

We can not confirm the above is true but what we do know at Medjugorje USA is through the years we have received many request from, parents, friends of or teen drug addicts themselves, asking they be put in contact with Community Cenacolo. All we know here at Medjugorje USA is not allowing Mirjana to continued her apparitions at the Medjugorje Cenacolo and the removal of the Community Cenacolo website, means teens who had hope have had that hope taken away. Troubled teens could die as a result of all this political control.

We ask that every one pray over this matter.

Final Note:

The former and current Bishop who covers the region of Medjugorje within the diocese, have both been quite open to all media sources that they do not believe in the Medjugorje Apparitions. The Vatican became aware of the tainted Commission appointed by the former Bishop when U.S. Ambassador to Yugoslavia, David Anderson's sent the Vatican a classified document called an "AirGram." In the AirGram sent to Vatican, Rome, Anderson stated that each member of the Medjugorje Commission had publicly announced they did not believe the Virgin Mary was appearing in Medjugorje, prior to the completed investigation. Anderson also noted that one member of the Commission who did not believe, went to Medjugorje and had a change of heart. As soon as the head of the Commission (Bishop Zanic) learned this Commission member now believed, he was dismissed from the Commission. This AirGram is in my personal possession after my two years of tribulation to have this information released under the "Freedom of Information Act." Just a month after the 25th Anniversary of the Medjugorje apparitions once again the Vatican who said they would not investigate Medjugorje again till the apparitions were over, announced they would form yet a third Commission to investigate the Medjugorje apparitions.  This change of heart is believed due to my book that came out in 06, "Medjugorje Investigated," which supplied documented proof the previous Commissions were tainted. The third Medjugorje Commission formed September of 06, to date has not released findings.

The point to this final note is to inform the reader that the current Bishop of Mostar has no jurisdiction over the apparitions and the investigation as the Vatican itself has taken this matter into their own hand, due to the former and current Bishop's outspoken opinion against the apparition prior to proper investigation. Even so, the Bishop still has some authority over Medjugorje which is under his jurisdiction. This allows the Bishop to do things such as to force his will over Sister Elvira's Community Cenacolo in Medjugorje.  Sister Elvira has to be obedient to the rule of the Bishop because of her vow of obedience. Since the rule of the Bishop, it appears Community Cenacolo has been hurt by the Bishop's ruling and the Cenacolo website has been removed for some unknown reason. Suffering teens could suffer and die as a result.

Fr Tutto's commentary on the latest message

Our Lady is calling us to pray for peace and to witness to it, because our troubled world creates only fears and worries in most hearts, as we hear the daily news about conflicts and terrorist killings in many parts of the world. Present-day financial and industrial worries in the world are adding more fears for the future and when we consider the juvenile delinquency and breakdown of families we wonder what will happen to our society and nation. No wonder Our Lady is very much concerned about the state of the world, and in order to bring peace into our communities and into the world she is bringing peace to families first. She came to us through Medjugorje as our Mother, Teacher, Model and Queen of Peace, with a mission to lead us all on the way to peace, as she told us in many messages, as for instance on 25th July 1990:
Dear Children, today I invite you to peace. I have come here as the Queen of Peace and I desire to enrich you with my Motherly Peace. Dear children, I love you and I desire to bring all of you to the peace which only God gives and which enriches every heart. I invite you to become carriers and witnesses of my peace to this unpeaceful world. Let peace reign in the whole world, which is without peace and longs for peace. I bless you with my Motherly Blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.

Our first task as carriers and witnesses of peace is to establish peace in our families, which are in grave danger in the present world situation. In order to secure peace in our families, Our Lady calls us to have a life of prayer, faith and love, the fruits of our conversion, and then God grants us the gift of peace. Our Lady called us many times to a life of prayer and love in order to become effective witnesses of peace, as on 25th March 1995:
Dear Children, Today I invite you to live peace in your hearts and families. There is no peace, little children, where there is no prayer; and there is no love where there is no faith. Therefore, little children, I invite you all to decide again today for conversion. I am close to you and I invite you all, little children, into my embrace to help you. But you do not want it; so Satan is tempting you, and in the smallest things your faith disappears. This is why, dear children, pray; and through prayer, you will have blessing and peace. Thank you for your response to my call.

When Our Lady calls us to a life of prayer, she does not mean only saying prayers, but to be in an unceasing prayerful state of mind and heart, as when she explained her frequently used expression ‘pray, pray, pray’ to Jelena on 26th June 1984:
When I say ‘pray, pray, pray’ I do not only want to say to increase the number of hours of prayer, but also to reinforce the desire for prayer and to be in contact with God. Place yourself permanently in a state of spirit bathed in prayer.

Through such prayer, prayer of the heart, we open our hearts to the gift of peace, as Jesus promised at the Last Supper: Peace I bequeath to you, my own peace I give you, a peace the world cannot give, this is my gift to you. (John 14:27)

Our Lady Queen of Peace of Medjugorje’s May 2, 2009 Message
To Mirjana Soldo on the Day for Unbelievers

 
Pilgrims began gathering before 5:00 a.m. at the Blue Cross for this apparition on the 2nd of the month. Rosaries were prayed continuously throughout the morning. Several thousand people gathered, surrounding the entire area on the base of Apparition Mountain near the Blue Cross. Mirjana arrived some minutes before the apparition and prayed with a very serious look on her face in preparation. This seriousness continued throughout the apparition. Our Lady came at 8:52 a.m. and stayed for about 3 minutes. The following is an account of the apparition:
 

Our Lady was very sad. She only gave a message and blessed us.

“Dear children! Already for a long time I am giving you my Motherly heart and offering my Son to you. You are rejecting me. You are permitting sin to overcome you more and more. You are permitting it to master you and to take away your power of discernment. My poor children, look around you and look at the signs of the times. Do you think that you can do without God’s blessing? Do not permit darkness to envelop you. From the depth of your heart cry out for my Son. His Name disperses even the greatest darkness. I will be with you, you just call me: ‘Here we are Mother, lead us.’ Thank you.”

Everyone is an expert on prayer, everyone has his or her own prayer. That person says prayer at a certain time, using the same words and no one is to disturb him at that time, otherwise that person will get annoyed. There are millions of prayers to be said.

There is contemplative prayer, prayer of meditation, prayer with reasons, with words, prayer in silence and in the heart. There are prayers of thanksgiving, prayers of asking, prayers for healing, prayers for blessing, prayers for perseverance, prayers you would say that your husband will be converted, or may be that your wife will be converted. Really we can pray for everything.

What is important when it comes to prayer ? For me the best prayer consists of few points, some people compare this with how one uses a telephone, because you dial a number and then a person answers. The first step is to become close to God, in his presence. The second step is to admit your sins. The third step is to forgive everyone. The fourth step is to renounce all sins. The fifth step is to accept your cross. The sixth step is to accept the Holy Spirit because once we renounce sin, that person is empty and he or she has to be filled with something. The seventh step is to say to God, thank you.
You have dialled the numbers 1-7 and that is what we call telephone prayer. Try this prayer, you will be changed in a day. Really you will be. You know that we have been saying the prayers already, but I did not mention to you why is this prayer important ? because it contains all the important elements. The most important part of this prayer is the presence of God. That is the most difficult thing. We say where is God ? Then we start imagining Him. I always share this with pilgrims to Medjugorje, the way people imagine God. When Jesus was crucified and buried he was thirty three years old. We do not know how old the Holy Spirit is and the Father must be around seventy years old. He has a long white beard, and he is sitting on a throne. He sees everything and knows everything, there is thunder and lightening below. If you do something in the dark he is able to see that. He cannot really see everything, because there are six and a half billion people living here, so he gave a guardian angel to every person and that angel is working on a computer. Once you make a mistake he records that. When the last moment of your life comes he will just press the button, enter, and all your sins will be on one piece of paper. It is not going to be just one sheet. That is what some people think, but its not going to be like that, because God is a God who forgives.
There is nothing so beautiful as to know that someone loves you all the time, and that is the way God loves us, without any conditions. Think in this way: if we are good then God must be good. If we commit sins straightaway he gets angry. That is not God. That is the image of God we use, and that is why often people pray to images of God, the way they imagine Him. That is only an image, that is not God, God who is revealed to us in Jesus Christ. The next step will how we explain God as love and how all the other images are wrong.

In her message January 2009, Our Lady referred to how our busy lives lead us towards the wrong way as opposed to Her messages which lead us to the Way of Holiness. This means we can do better for ourselves if we find time to reflect on our lives as well as helping those who do not pray and those who cannot forgive. Medjugorje is a great grace for the rest of the world. It is therefore important to respond to the call of the Queen of Peace.

Revelation is enough, but God did not stop creating the world, for example the shrines of Our Lady throughout the world. There are times when there are two hundred priests hearing confessions for over twelve hours a day in Medjugorje. In the 19th Youth Festival four hundred and fifty priests from all nations offered Holy Masses in different languages.

To be a pilgrim is to share our experience of joy with others as well as our difficulties so that we can grow together, a Church on a journey. To be a pilgrim is to walk to a certain goal to the Kingdom of God. For us Christians a pilgrimage is an experience of leaving a place. Its an experience of Exodus that is what happened to the people of Israel they left Egypt. It gives a feeling of leaving something behind. It is the same with conversion, we leave the old way of life behind us and we are desiring something new, with a feeling for wishing for something else, on this earth we have no permanent place to stay. It is also an experience of Israel who became a community while walking together through the desert. At the same time we can also experience that the Kingdom of God is not somewhere else but that it is here and we have to go on a pilgrimage. That means we have to care a lot about the desire for God.

The strongest example of taking a journey in our faith is the Blessed Virgin Mary, she was always growing in faith. When the angel came to her she did not know all that would happen, she was pondering these events in her heart as she kept them, she was growing. That is why when she was at the foot of the Cross she did not fall down, she knows it is the will of God. She knows that God will take care of everything and bring good things. She was not only a pilgrim in her faith, she was also a pilgrim in a physical way.

So that means we are all on a journey and we should be guided by God, because just a meeting with someone on a pilgrimage can become very important in your life. Medjugorje pilgrims go not only in faith but also in a physical way. People return from Medjugorje changed, often unrecognisably - you have to change. Sometimes its a case of I dont want to change. Yet all the time God is changing you. Tourists visit Medjugorje and come back as pilgrims. Our whole life is a journey, we have to leave behind all that is burdening us on our journey, and confess the sins we have not confessed before. Just listen to the love of God, Do not be afraid, appears 365 times in the Bible.

Fr Tutto's commentary on the latest message

Our Lady is comparing the awakening of nature in springtime with the awakening of our souls through prayers in the season of Lent to receive the light of the risen Jesus. Through our Lenten exercises, prayers, self-denials and repentance for our sins we open our hearts more and more to celebrate Easter with joy and thanksgiving as children of light who have received the grace of the risen Lord who is the light of the world, as Jesus described Himself before the people who were listening to Him: I am the light of the world; anyone who follows me will not be walking in the dark; he will have the light of life (John 8:12).

When Our Lady made her promise at Fatima: Ultimately my Immaculate Heart will triumph, she did not mean only her triumph over Satan, but above all the arrival of the Kingdom of God, the reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in all hearts, and that is why Our Lady is so anxious to prepare all her children through her mission at Medjugorje to come closer and closer to the Heart of Jesus to share eternal life with Him. She is preparing us not only for our own eternal happiness, but for us to become her instruments, her apostles, to help others to believe in Jesus, until the whole world will experience salvation as our Lady has indicated in her very first message on 16th June 1981: I wish to be with you to convert and reconcile the whole world.

The conversion and reconciliation of all people of the world is the ultimate objective of Our Lady’s mission, but for that it is necessary that first we, all her children, be converted and reconciled with God and with each other. In Our Lady’s teaching conversion is an ongoing change and transformation of our hearts, daily conversion as she told us on 25th February 1993, so that ‘your life may be a joyful witnessing for Jesus’.

Our Lady is teaching, guiding and praying for us all these years that we all may experience sincere conversion. Our Lady’s call to conversion is the most important of all her messages, as she told us on 25th February 1996:
Dear Children, Today, I invite you to conversion. This is the most important message that I have given you here. Little children, I wish that each of you become a carrier of my messages. I invite you, little children, to live the messages that I have given you over these years. This is a time of grace, especially now when the church also is inviting you to prayer and conversion. I also, little children, invite you to live my messages that I have given you during the time since I appeared here. Thank you for having responded to my call.
Our Lady wants us to give ourselves and our entire past to the Lord, through which we become joyful witnesses to Jesus and to Our Lady, as she told us at the beginning of her monthly messages on 25th February 1987:
Dear Children, Behold, also today I want to call you to start living a new life as of today. Dear children, I want you to comprehend that God has chosen each one of you, in order to use you in a great plan for the salvation of mankind. You are not able to comprehend how great your role is in God's design. Therefore, dear children, pray so that in prayer you may be able to comprehend what God's plan is in your regard. I am with you in order that you may be able to bring it about in all its fullness. Thank you for having responded to my call.
