The Medieval Saints List is a read-only Saint-of-the-Day service for people who want to know more about the Legenda of the Saints and Beati of the Medieval and Renaissance Period to about 1600. The Saints featured on this list are persons (real, embellished, and of pious fiction) who either had a cultus during the Period, or who lived during the Period and may have been canonized later. There will also be announcements of Holy Days and annual celebrations of the Medieval and Renaissance Period.

I rely heavily on On-Line resources and I will document where I found my information. I have found the St. Patrick's Church, For All the Saints, New Advent's 1908 Catholic Encyclopedia, and the Catholic Community Forum's Patron Saints Pages especially helpful. In some cases I will edit down a story, and then give a reference for the full version or give additional references. Also on this site is a Links section with references to Saints Lives, and a Files section which has other information including Period Prayers many of which are in Latin and English and sometimes other languages as well.
