The Edgar A. Mearns Bird Club is centered in Orange County, New York.
The Mearns Yahoo Website and ListServ was begun in 2005 to increase communication between members regarding birds seen in Orange County, the surrounding counties, New York and neighbouring states, and birding in general.
If you are visiting the Mearns Yahoo website and you have an interest in birds and birding in this county, consider becoming a member of the website.
You do not have to be a member of the E.A.Mearns Club to join the Yahoo website, but I would encourage you to join the club. This is an active bird club with many experienced birders, with frequent field trips in and around Orange County. Beginning birders are welcomed. Membership dues are $10.00 a year for individuals and $15.00 per couple.
