We are a Christian-based group for ALL homeschoolers in McDowell County.
~STAND was formed Sep.1 2004~

S.T.A.N.D's mission is to:

Serve - Teach - Admonish - Nurture - Direct

* Support to our homeschool families in the McDowell-Rutherford and surrounding counties through organization and communication.

* Provide information about homeschool opportunities (classes, field trips, support group meetings, & monthly newsletter to all members)

* A place where members are free to share their ideas, questions and/or concerns relating to homeschooling in North Carolina

* A place to promote events that support the homeschool community at large
