Pridelets: Now & Then for March 9
THEN: On this day in 1995, in Orion Township, 24-year-old Jon Schmitz,
buys a shotgun, and drives over to the home of Scott Amedure and shoots
his former friend twice in the chest. Three days earlier both had
appeared on The syndicated "Jenny Jones" talk show where Amedure was
egged on by producers to reveal his "secret crush" on "Schmitz's hard
little body" and that his sexual fantasy was "to tie him up in [a]
hammock and spray whipped cream and champagne on his body."
NOW: In 2006, Jenny Jones has written a cookbook, "Look Good, Feel
Great" whose profits benefit breast cancer research.
