Boating Safety Courses & Insurance Discounts

I think that is an Insurance "company" preference, not and insurance "industry" preference.  My insurer had given me a discount for either/or, or some combination of both my BHSC and BoatWise training (prior to my USCG class and license via BoatWise) ... After obtaining my USCG Lic. I called my insurer hoping to get some additional discounts, but no go, they only offer the 1 discount for whichever qualifies first.
