Online Giving Now Available. Support Island Alliance's Annual Fund Today! Summer is well underway and the Boston Harbor Islands are hopping! Every day there are hundreds of children and families using the islands to explore, swim, fish, and experience a variety of cultural, historical, and recreational activities for free. With your help, Island Alliance is sponsoring 45 days of free family programs on both Spectacle and Georges, from Boston Children's Theatre every summer Friday on Georges to Sunday afternoon jazz concerts on the veranda of the Spectacle visitor center. More than 1500 kids from Boston's urban neighborhoods are receiving the opportunity to visit the Boston Harbor Islands and become "Junior Rangers" through exploration and activity completion with teen rangers. Additionally, our expanded inter- island ferry is enabling visitors to see the four Institute of Contemporary Art's installations on various islands.
