RE: [MassBaySailors] Transmission Removal

I've had good luck w/ Action Marine and Gary Ward in Winthrop who used to rebuild my transmissions before his shop burned. Where is your boat? That would make a difference.

Subject: [MassBaySailors] Transmission Removal

Greetings All Mass Bay Sailors,

I am looking for a mechanic to remove my Velvet Drive Transmission and re-install it.  I need to get a rebuild.  I have been given a couple of names - Action Mobile Marine in Winthrop is one and McGanns(?)  Marine in Hingham is another.  Does anyone have experience with either of these two or have another mechanic that they can recommend.  I am going to have it rebuilt in Fairhaven by Nopper Marine.

Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks
Gary
