My name is Larry Robertie and I've been lurking on the list for about a month.  Figured it was about time I introduced myself.

Last year I sold my 27' Catalina sloop and picked up a Catalina 34.  Very nice boat, and my wife and I are looking forward to cruising and day sailing, and just plain sitting and enjoying.

We have a mooring in Salem harbor, way back in the M field.  It's actually on the Marblehead side but somehow got grandfathered in to being a Salem mooring, or so the guy I bought it from tells me.  At any rate the Salem water taxi services it so I'm happy. 

I belong to Palmers Cove Yacht Club, joining a little over a year ago.  I'm very much enjoying it there.

I'm also pretty active with the Catalina Association of New England.  Great people and a lot of activity.

Also, I have recently started a blog, although I'm not sure were I'm going with it.
