Mapwel can georeference perfectly well with 2 points only. But if your map is not oriented perfectly north-south, you will have to rotate it. That can be done

The auto-vectorized maps are supposed to appear in GPS as large squares at large zoom and full detail appears only when zoomed in to about 300 m or closer.
