You'll probably get different answers from different
libertarians on that topic. My own opinion is that
"age of consent" laws are rather arbitrary and should
be abolished. Different people develop cognitively at
different rates and are capable of giving consent at
different ages. Certainly there are plenty of mature
teenagers who are as capable as they're ever going to
be to make their own decisions on whether to use
drugs, have sex, etc.
If you're going to charge someone with taking
advantage of a person, of whatever age, the burden
should be on the prosecution to prove that the
"victim" was not capable of consenting. Easy to prove
with a 4-year-old. Probably a lot harder to prove with
a 13-year-old.
