This email list has been established for people who have an interest in monitoring and evaluation as applied in Ghana. It is open to people living in Ghana and those elsewhere who have a connection with Ghana. Its aim is to: (a) encourage mutual learning between members, through exchange of questions and answers; (b) make opportunities quickly available to members, concerning M&E related training events, conferences, workshops and employment vacancies; (c) enable members to make contacts with other members with related M&E interests. As well as email exchanges, MandE Ghana hopes to encourage periodic meetings of members, to exchange recent experiences (via round-robin reporting) and hear presentations by their invited speakers. The email list will be supported by the related MandE Ghana website at http://www.mande.co.uk/ghana
The interim moderator is Rick Davies (www.mande.co.uk), who facilitates a global (MandE NEWS email list). It is hoped that some members of MandE Ghana will also participate in this global email list and other specialist M&E lists (see www.mande.co.uk/emaillists.htm), to help transfer ideas to and from these wider groups.
New members will be asked some questions about themselves and what aspects of M&E they are most interested in. If you are thinking of joining the MandE Ghana emailing list you may want to read "Being a good email list member"
