Welcome to Malaysians Qatar Yahoo Groups!!!

This is a mailing list for all Malaysians residing in Qatar.

The objective of this Yahoo group is to establish constant communications and strengthen relationships among Malaysians currently residing in Qatar. This is a place where Malaysians in Qatar are free to exchange and share information, get to know your other fellow country members, share info about the state of Qatar and for newcomers, this is a place for you to get to know all you need to know to become acquainted with living in this country. You will also be able to know and get constantly updated with all the things happening within the Malaysian community in Qatar.

If you have any info that you would like to share with your fellow Malaysians, feel free to do so. Send photos, messages, files whatsoever. However, please bear in mind to be respectful to your fellow Malaysians as we are widely recognized as people who respects others religions, traditions, cultures etc. And, the most important thing, do respect Qatar and its people.

We strongly encourage all Malaysians residing in Qatar to register themselves with the Embassy of Malaysia in Doha, Qatar. You can fill-in the form provided in this Yahoo group (for new members, it is automatically sent to you) and send it to maldoha@kln.gov.my or visit the official website of the Malaysian Embassy in Qatar at http://www.kln.gov.my/perwakilan/doha.

We would also like to encourage all fellow Malaysians in Qatar to join the Malaysians Association in Qatar (MAQ), the official Malaysian association for all Malaysians residing in Qatar. For more information, please visit http://www.maq.org.qa/.
