Dear MOSC members,
Just after Jesus finished preaching the famous Sermon on the Mount, He made it
clear to His listeners that they had two choices as to what to do with the godly
wisdom they had heard. What they did with His words would determine their
eternal life or their death. Jesus told a parable, labeled in my bible, “The
Wise and Foolish Builders.”

He described the two foundations on which builders might build a house. One was
rock – very firm, strong and lasting. The other foundation was sand – shifting,
ever changing and easily washed away. Jesus' listeners knew about storms. Their
land was known for torrential rains and disastrous floods. So Jesus began, when
the storms came the house built on sand, unstable to begin with, would come down
with a crash while the house built on rock would stand.

The rock foundation represented the Lord Himself. The sand represented acts of
righteousness prescribed by the Pharisees and other teachers. It was doing what
they thought was right in order to gain their place in heaven. Wise were those
who built their hopes and dreams on the Rock. Foolish were the ones who built on
sand.

Had I read this parable many years ago, before I met Jesus, I wouldn’t have
believed it or understood its value. My house – plans, expectations, motivations
– was built on my own wisdom. My wisdom in turn was a product of the plans,
expectations, and motivations of my friends and some contemporary spiritual
teachers. Their ideas and teachings clicked with my own self-centered concerns.
So my house was built on sand. It shifted and settled with the winds, but when
the storms came, as they inevitably do, it fell with an ungraceful crash. No
secret and no amount of positive thinking could change the storm damage. While
assessing the ruins, by the mercy of the Savior, I was drawn to the Beautiful
Secret that has always been there for all to see – for all whose eyes were open.

Once I met Jesus and began to know Him, I started rebuilding my house on solid
rock. And when the storms come, as they inevitably do, my house stands firm and
safe. As the storm rages, I sometimes huddle inside and tremble – until I
remember to take the hand of the One who has everything in control.

Storms of life inevitably come. A tornado destroys a home. A spouse decides to
end a marriage. A doctor diagnoses cancer. A loved one is killed in an
automobile accident. Get to know the One who holds life in His hands. He is the
firm foundation. Build your house on the Rock.

Jubilee has got its origin in Bible/It is old as Pentateuch(Torah)and Lord the
God instituited it for very noble purposes.(refer Levictus:25)

In Israel Jubilee was announced by heralding trumpet on the tenth Day of
Atonement in the fiftieth year.They (the israel)shall "hallow" the
year,proclaimam Liberty to the entire inhabitants of the land,return the
porperty its original owner,reddem the debts,not wrong one another,but fear the
lord and thus  goes lengthy deatails how to bserve the Jubilee.
"And you shall hallow the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land
to allits inhabitants;it shall be a Jubilee for you".(Levi 25:10)

What Is the Real meaning/message of Jubilee/Yobel celeberations
1.Strong faith/copmlete subjection to God
2.Replenish lost vigour by observing sabbath and keeping it holy.
3.Jubilee is the year of redumption
4.Jubilee is the year of Charity,goodwill and Social order(Jubilee    year  is
the year of freedom)
5.Jubilee is the year of Reconciliation
Reconciliation is a process wherby debts are forgiven,or wrongs are forgiven as
St.paul urge us all 'YOU SHALL NOT WRONG ONE ANOTHER BUT FEAR THE lORD'
LET US REJOICE IN LORD THROUGH CELEBERATNG  THE JUBILEE YEAR
by observing the true meaning of Jubliee.

Alone with God Behind Closed Doors
 
Matt. 6:6: “But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut
your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who
sees in secret will reward you openly.”
 
Our heavenly Father invites us to meet with Him in secret, having shut the whole
world out. Our heavenly Father wants to reveal Himself to us so we may know Him.
Blessed truth! Let us wait on the Lord, and expect Him to speak to us  when we
are alone with Him. He will speak to us and reveal Himself to us. Lord, let me
know you when I am alone with you. Let me delight in having fellowship with you.
[Remember how Adam was alone before Eve was created. Adam was the only human
being on the earth, and he had fellowship with God. When we are alone with God,
let us consider ourselves separated from the world.]

 
Let us take time to be alone with our heavenly Father and let us abide in His
presence saying, “Lord God my Father, I love you. Let me hear you speak to me.
Let me know you, Lord.”   Let us trust the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts
with
love, Rom. 5:5. As we abide in God’s presence, meditating on His Word and
desiring to please Him, we are transformed, 2 Cor. 3:18. Amen.

President of Episcopal Synod of Malankara Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church
addressed to H.H. The Patriarch;

After kissing your Holiness' Sacred hand and beseeching apostolic benediction, I
on behalf of the Malankara Episcopal Synod, submit the following for your
Holiness' kind consideration and early expeditious action. The Episcopal Synod
of the Malankara Syrian Orthodox Church met on Nov 5, 1996 in the presence of
Mor Yuhanon Gregorios Metropolitan and Mor Osthathios Matha Rohom Metropolitan,
members of the Patriarchal delegation and unanimously decided to respectfully
request your Holiness to issue an apostolic bull to establish peace in our
Malankara Church. On the basis of your Holiness' Bull No.E 175/95 dated Aug 1,
1995 and the Supreme Court verdict, the Synod would like your Holiness to lift
the anathema pronounced on the Catholicos of the other faction in Malankara
along with the Ecclesiastical dignitaries under his jurisdiction without
wounding their feelings and prestige. The members of the Synod are convinced
that timely action of your Holiness through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit
only could save our Malankara Church from disintegration.

Reference: Excerpts from H.H. Patriarch Zakka I Kalpana No.E 74/97 states that
"…..the Holy Episcopal Synod which met in the presence of our representatives
their Graces Metropolitans Mor Gregorios Yuhanon of Aleppo and Mor Osthatheos
Matta of Jessirah had accepted and endorsed the repeated decision of the
Managing Committee of our Church there stating that "the Church should be united
on the basis of the Supreme Court verdict on our Church case."
……we direct you to take immediate steps in order to execute the decision of the
Holy Episcopal Synod and the Managing Committee and inform us before March 10,
1997 by Fax (Fax No. 00963-11-54324000) the procedure to be taken by us for
establishing peace and unity in our Church there.

Reference: Excerpts from Patriarch Zakka I Kalpana No.E 30/99 ; We have send an
Apostolic Bull to you all on December 14, 1998 regarding the present state of
affairs in our Church there. On December 17, 1998, we have send another
Apostolic Bull to the President of the Synod advising him to postpone the
meeting of the Association of the Patriarch group which was proposed to be held
on Jan.26 1999. In reply to those Apostolic Bulls we have received two letters
from the President of the Synod His Grace Metropolitan Mor Gregoriose
Geevarghese and His Grace Metropolitan Dionosius Thomas of our Angamally
Diocese, along with some documents stating the necessity of holding the meeting
for several reasons. It is surprising we didn't receive a reply from the Holy
Episcopal Synod in this regard. Anyhow, we have examined the letters and the
documents sent from our two Metropolitans and we are pleased to send the
following reply to the members of our Holy Episcopal Synod in India.

First of all we would like to remind you about our duty as shepherds to lead the
faithful through the path of fearing God and following the steps of our
fore-fathers, up keeping the faith and traditions of our Church irrespective of
our selfish motives and benefits. When we talk about peace in the Church we mean
it, "Blessed are the peace makers, for they shall be called sons of God." If we
don't have peace among us, we will not have peace with our Lord Jesus Christ.
Again we read, "For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and
loses and forfeits himself?" We have no authority to judge others. Our Lord Said
"Judge not, that you may not be judged". It is our duty to bear the weakness of
our brothers and to accommodate them. Sometimes we force others to flee from our
side due to our undesirable attitude and behaviour. We use to insult others with
unchristian language. So we have to keep all this in our minds and behave in a
soft way to win even our enemies. We wish to state our opinions regarding the
points raised in both the letter and documents sent from our two Metropolitans.
"…… you are not informing us any of the developments there and at last you use
to take certain decisions and ask us to approve it. That means you consider us
only as a person to put the seal and signature on your decisions what ever it
may be. As you know, this is a critical time concerning our Church there and any
hasty or unwise decision will affect the innocent faithful whom you are
representing. And if we sign any improper decision taken by you all the blame
will come upon us." "……..it will be unjust to restrain the respondents from
holding the meeting of the Patriarch group to discuss the future course of
action which is necessary for the unification of the Church" and not for
electing the Metropolitan Trustee, etc. as you have presently planned……….And the
Apex court directed in its order that "there shall not be any addition to the
already existing strength of Bishops"……..it is stated in para 5 of the letter
that you have accepted the 1934 constitution to avoid adverse orders against the
Parish Churches. As we have stated in our Apostolic Bull, you all have accepted
the 1934 constitution and now you are working as Metropolitans of your dioceses
under that constitution……………. As we have written, we are standing for peace and
our ultimate aim is to establish peace and unity is our Church there. We don't
want to lose the benefit of the judgment of the Hon. Supreme Court. It is in
correct to say that you are exercising your powers in the same manner that you
were doing earlier. When you accept a constitution, you are functioning under
that constitution. As such, during the proposed Malankara Association if your
positions are ratified, you can continue in your status. The Supreme Court never
approved our Malankara Metropolitan or Catholicos in its decisions in 1958 or
1995. According to our contention, the Malankara Metropolitan is the Trustee of
the Common Trust Properties. The Catholicos of the other group was accepted by
the 1995 decision of the Supreme Court. We have no common trust properties in
our possession. So, it is not advisable to elect an incumbent for that position.
……….You were always adamant in your attitude. In the first instance the other
group was ready to make peace on the basis of the judgment of the Hon. Supreme
Court and the Constitution. At that time you withdrew from the conciliation
talks. You won't think for the better future of our Church there……….you are
accusing others stating they are working for the other group. In this regard,
your attitude is unappreciable. You are loosing people from our group by raising
unfounded allegations………according to your request, we hereby permit you to hold
the meeting of the representatives from our Churches to fill up the vacancies in
the Managing Committee and its office bearers only, in the first week of
February if the vacancies arise in that date. You are not allowed to elect a
Malankara Metropolitan or Catholicos and Metropolitan candidates.

Contradiction:
1) The Bulls by itself are factual but the stark realities today are quite sadly
the opposite of what has been pictured above for `peace and unity'; now, we see
a replica of the Catholicos and a `host of Metropolitans' standing for "piece"
and "separation"
2) If only the Patriarch had stood his ground vehemently, unity would have been
achieved long ago. But alas, in H.H. own words "you use to take certain
decisions and ask us to approve it. That means you consider us only as a person
to put the seal and signature on your decisions what ever it may be…….and if we
sign any improper decision taken by you all the blame will come upon us."

3) Excerpts from H.H. Patriarch Zakka I Kalpana No.E125/2010.

...two excommunicated bishops from India………they both had broken away from our
Church in India and had joined the enemies, who were excommunicated by the Holy
synod held in Damascus in 1975. And we saw our enemies promoting, with the sole
evil purpose of harming our Church. Those born of hypocrisy and deception can
only show their inherent nature.

In this regard, it's apt to recall the Patriarchs' own words; "Sometimes we
force others to flee from our side due to our undesirable attitude and
behaviour. We use to insult others with unchristian language".

[The two bishops and those with them were excommunicated because they obeyed the
Patriarch's Bull outlined above on peace and unity while the others backtracked.
The alleged excommunication in 1975 was because the Malankara Church did not
yield to the secular desires of the then Patriarch Yakoob III and his renowned
Kalpana No.203/1970 which states that Apostle Thomas was not even a priest.
Both excommunications are non- canonical in nature and hence no legitimacy].

Interestingly now, Patriarch Zakka I Kalpana No.E125/2010, affirm "St. Thomas
the Patron Saint of India" contradicting Patriarch Yakoob III assertion.

4) Excerpts from the Bulls cited and their contradictions reveal (By quoting
H.H. Words) who the actual enemy is, who promotes the sole evil purpose of
harming our Church and who indeed is actually born of hypocrisy and deception.
Yes they can only show their inherent nature.

Conclusion:

In light of the above episodes for `peace and unity' and their contradictions,
conclude by quoting Kalpana No.E125/2010 of H.H. the Patriarch;

Because our Lord said: "for each tree is known by its fruit, for figs are not
gathered from thorns, nor are grapes gathered from a bramble bush" (Luke 6:44).
The omniscient Almighty may see to them and reward them. The seed of evil,
misunderstanding left a bitter taste in the Church. The Apostle says in Romans
16: 17& 18; I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and
put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned.
Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their
own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive
people. "Yes indeed, the Holy Spirit is the teacher and instructor of the Holy
Church, who always works to strengthen the faithful on the rock of faith and
defeats the deceivers and erroneous who work for their own personal benefits,
who through their faulty teachings that are far away from Orthodox belief, do
delude the meek and faithful. We shall never have partnership with such persons.
We disown them as said by St. Paul, "Put away from yourselves the evil person"
(2Cor 5:13)."

Seducing the feeble hearted, and creating more and more proselytes and thus
defied the commandments of the Apostles and the rules of the `Malankara Church'.

The division of Mother Church is what is explicitly prescribed as the panacea
for `peace'. Unity is not at all in their agenda. They are asking for their
`share', just as the Prodigal Son asked for his, in the Biblical story.
There have been prodigal sons all along in the history of our church. Lk.12: 49
`I came to bring fire to the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50I
have a baptism with which to be baptized, and what stress I am under until it is
completed! 51Do you think that I have come to bring peace to the earth? No, I
tell you, but rather division! 52From now on, five in one household will be
divided, three against two and two against three; 53they will be divided:father
against son  and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter
against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law  and daughter-in-law
against mother-in-law.'
More fire works are being done everyday for the earth to be consumed by an
infernal fire. Even when Jesus was agonizing for a bleeding death, the disciples
were planning for power-grabbing. The same is the case with the present day
church that is equipped with lethal weapons of heresy and religious terrorism
which is the recipe for 'the man of false countenance' to sit in the Temple
Altar. Instead of unity, division of the church has been the modus-operandi from
the very beginning, Acts.20. There may be truces in the secular or political
set- up, but not in the religious spectrum because the division that leads to a
universal fire is the recipe that only finds an ultimate answer for the warring
factions, 2.pet.3: 10-13, sects and political spirituality agenda of the church
and nations. Even during the persecution times of the early Christianity there
were some groups with different heretical ideologies flourished in the church.
What to speak now when we have lax freedom of speaking or doing anything. The
replacing of complementing roles in the family with equality dynamite has
torpedoed the family serenity and quality of life which affect the society in a
pernicious dimension for its disintegration, producing prodigals for the society
and the church. When the river that flows downward branches into different arms,
they don't usually join again and flow backward, but only meets in the ocean,
the great fire that awaits all the created ones, including the planet/s. Though
the promise of the Heavenly key was promised to an apostle, Judas who enjoyed
the finance portfolio didn't get satisfaction, thus he conspired with the
outside enemies to get more power games by beheading his Guru. No one in this
world is happy, as the head weight that impels everyone as a hero is the culture
of the day. The Jacobites want peace after grabbing our temporal wealth, so they
affiliate with few corrupt politicians to close our churches and thus finding
the dilapidation of parish buildings. Neither they want to worship in our
churches nor would they allow us to use our churches. A dog in the manger
policy. We believed that the Antiochian Patriarch came in 1875 here as a real
peace maker, but the pontiff's eyes were in the poultry enclosure. Ruling others
over with iron rod has been the tool of the religious hierarchy that flourished
everywhere with hypocrisy and self-betrayal. Our latest, long and bleeding fight
and court cases has only produced two virulent hybrid churches, Malankara Reeth
and Jacobite imperialism which gave birth to the Orthodox-Patriarch
miscellaneous residue, allowing to penetrate into our nucleus because of the
conducive climate of grabbing red robes easily for our many disenchanted bishop
candidates who try to pluck the power-craving and money raving clergy position.
They snatch so many failed seminary applicants, academicals drop outs, who is
good for nothing to get a job in the competing job markets, but are pledging
themselves as faithful stewards in the House of the Lord for misleading the
blind. As the Jacobite church recruited many 100 rupee clergy after the 1958
truce, it is a congenial weather to pluck the clergy position in the new
crossbreed church and also in Jacobite society church. The ransom for their
salvation is reported to be varying from 5 lakhs to 50 lakhs, depending on the
white rob or the red one. Why should we waste our health and time to preach and
convert these buffaloes that are taken to be slaughtered? Their muddying
postings will gather some converts from our side for these adulterated believers
who want to fish in the troubled waters. This is the reason I suggested earlier
that nobody other than the Malankara Orthodox believers should be given
membership in our sites. Even Jesus didn't get a true believer in His life
ministry that made numerous miracles and saved lives by resurrecting the dead.
His first convert was at His last moment that happened in between the earth and
heaven, though there were many called ones before. We can't change the
hard-hearted because the stone-like heart of the Pharaohs can be changed for a
short time by getting severe and unrelenting punishments. These peace makers are
like the monkey in the fable that divided the bread just for itself. Don't bow
down to their pretence that is eyeing to net some vulnerable victims of our
church into their snare. We can't do anything with such religious terrorists,
only leave them to God. Let both wheat and the weed grow together till the fiery
harvest.

So, what is the importance of forty? Its meaning is completion of one level and
the time for beginning of a new level. Forty is a period for repair and testing.
It is a period of probation and learning. The period Forty ends with a renewal
experience. …The number Seven is a number of completion or fulfillment.



Numbers have mystical meanings. Number seven and forty apparently are magical
numbers. 7 is the number that is used more than any other numbers in the Bible.
The bible is constrained or contained within the limits of these 2 numbers that
outreach to the limits to the throne of God because one day is equivalent to
1000 years, Ps.90: 4; 2.pet.3: 8. 7 millennia that stand for 6 days of God's
creation and the 7th day rest that step into the 8th day or the beginning of
Eternity make 7,000 year gap in the Eternity. The first day that begins on a
Sunday finishes on the 8th day Sunday that also is a symbol of eternity. So
Saturday is the rest day for the preparation of the 8th day in time and
timelessness. It means that humanity has altogether 7,000 years, 6000 years on
earth and 1, 000 year rest in Paradise, from where starts the onward journey to
Heavenly Jerusalem which is the beginning of Eternity again. The finish of 6,
000 years culminate in no.666, the symbol of the Devil, because every alphabet
in Greek has a number; thus no.666 is for the devil, 777 for Jesus and 888 for
God or eternity. This is the reason for using no.7 in the bible for anything
that is mystical for 7,000 years.

Forty is another number that the soul after death passes through the aerial
planes, oyar, of 40 days because the devil has set up 20 toll-houses for each
person's judgement that decides the destination of the soul: hell or Paradise . 
This is why the bible is a treasure house of mysteries and metaphysical
narrations which appear primarily as very simple but has unfathomable depth of
the celestial universes. The parables of Jesus that covers everything
supernatural and eternal, at the same time looks like the straightforward
everyday occurrences can be understood by a spirit of contrite person. Though we
live in the world, we are not of the world, the reason for not understanding the
in depth meanings of life. "If I have told you earthly things and you do not
believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things?, Jn.3: 12, as both
celestial and terrestrials are intertwined together, the soul tied up inside the
mortal frame. There is no easy outlet for the soul to come outside the ephemeral
frame. Not only in science and biblical narration the number 40 is inflated, but
also in our everyday life. "Life starts at forty', though focused humorously to
conjugal life, the real life and its beauty and strength begins at 40 due to the
fact that the full swing of life kick start then because the synchronization of
body and mind is blended together since the age of 40, the reason for Plato/
Aristotle philosopher king is equipped after rigorous training that bloom to
full comprehension and vitality of life in full swing, so that they can rule the
subjects with compassion and understanding. Because the unblemished Lamb hadn't
go through the oyar for 40 days, He spent those days with His elected few to
reveal the mysteries that is handed down to us as traditions, fables,
figuratives, anecdotes and so on.  The church is blessed with many such hidden
secrets that are handed down to us as sacraments, celebrations, observances etc.
Forty, therefore, is a symbol for premonition and admonition of our future life
that one has to go through the Devil's toll-houses.

My number of messages on such metaphysical interpretations is not posted by this
site many times. The moderators apparently think that most of our clerics laugh
at them because of the clergy's overpowering role in our religious lives. They
ask us to believe that we are to be ready to receive the Saviour at any time,
seemingly teaching that a Sunday Christian witnessing the holy Qurbana at times
and giving some money is the only recipe for salvation. Any of the
interpretations given by any laity is treated as the sign of a Pentecostal man,
claiming that the clergy is the only authority with regard to faith and biblical
interpretations. When I published my English book, many, including some of my
relatives and close friends, dubbed it as a fantasy and condemned and
ill-treated me as if I were an alien landed on this planet all of a sudden, as I
viewed the signs of the 2nd coming. People now have started realizing after 20
years that I saw well in advance the present organized chaos that pave the way
for a world ruler taking the rein of the world sooner or later. The Iraq war I
predicted on the basis of Daniel 8 came true, so also 9/11, Afghanistan war and
Iraq war unifying a Babylon the Great, Re.17: 5, climate changes bringing havoc
to the world, plagues of the apocalyptic times in exponential proportions are
the birth-pang of a new world order warned by the writer of Revelations are only
the tips of the ice berg. All these today's developments are recorded in the
biblical narratives. No one can run and hide from God because His writings are
in every cell of our body, including the inner cell of the inner man, and also
in the terrestrial and celestial atoms.Ps.139: 7 "Where can I go from your
spirit?   or where can I flee from your presence? 8 If I ascend to heaven, you
are there;    if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there. 9 If I take the wings of
the morning   and settle at the farthest limits of the sea, 10 even there your
hand shall lead me and your right hand shall hold me fast. 11 If I say, `Surely
the darkness shall cover me,    and the light around me become night', 12 even
the darkness is not dark to you;    the night is as bright as the day, for
darkness is as light to you. Prophet Jonah couldn't escape from the Lord, nor
can anyone.

It is a fact that everyone has to remember 4 things at every moment in one's
life that cannot be altered by anyone at any means. Death, Judgement, Heaven and
Hell are a part of our life that is recorded in the book of Life and the bible
is a temporal copy of that Book of Life.

Number 40 is a renewal for Eternity and number 7 is the completion of our
testing for 7,000 years for the regain of Eternity.

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the
feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. See that none render
evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among
yourselves, and to all men, 1 Thessalonians 5:14-15. 


The word exhort, the word warn, the word beseech, all of these words are in fact
the same word.
 
Has not the philosophy of the first murderer in affect been found on the lips of
saints and infidels alike?  In Genesis 4:9 we read: And the LORD said unto
Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brothers
keeper? Especially today, in the younger generation, there is an atmosphere of
such independence: Do your own thing. Mind your own business.


We find it in every generation, but especially today in our younger people, if
you ask them about one of their friends, their well-being or what they are
doing, they will reply: Oh, I do not know. They are minding their own business.
In other words: I have no responsibility to my brother. I have no responsibility
to my sister. I have no responsibility to my fellow man. This is the atmosphere
or philosophy of today.

Has not this philosophy been used to ignore our responsibility to our fellow man
or even to our own brother who has an ungodly agenda to follow? If we see a
brother, or our fellow man, walking in ways that ought not to be, how easily we
find that philosophy come forward: Am I my brothers keeper? In other words,
that is his business. However, our text exhorts us to warn them who are unruly.
We must comfort the feebleminded. We must support the weak, and be patient to
all men. It is our responsibility to see to the welfare of our fellow man. If we
see a fellow man who is going headlong into hell for a lack of knowledge, it is
our job, it is our responsibility to warn them.
 
We must remember that this philosophy originated in the pit of hell, and was
uttered by the first murderer after he had murdered his brother. It is heart
murder to ignore the well-being of our brother. We read in Genesis 4:8-9:And
Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the
field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. And the LORD
said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my
brothers keeper?


See the origin of this attitude. It comes right out of the heart of a murderer.
This philosophy is not supported in Scripture. The answer of this murderer to
Jehovah was an attempt to escape his responsibility, which legitimately lay upon
his shoulders for his brother Abel. You and I have an absolute responsibility to
our fellow man if we seeing them bringing about their own ruin, when they are
walking unruly, when they are doing things contrary to the will of God. Their
blood will be on our heads if we do not warn them.

However sad this answer was, it is the same response found in the heart of many
in the Christian churches of our day. Many of Gods dear people are negligent
toward their brothers, not realizing the extent of their responsibility.

The Lord is asking you today: What have you done with reference to your
brother, your wife, your husband, your children, your neighbor? Where is he or
she? As we gather here this afternoon, do we even know where our own children
are? Our own children have become adults. Our own children are now leading their
own lives, but does this relieve us of our responsibilities to them? The answer
is, No. It is still our responsibility to exhort them if we see them walking
unruly, if we see them walking in ways that are not right. We are still
responsible to warn them.

Are you responding by your actions: I know not: Am I my brothers keeper? They
are of age. They are responsible. They are on their own. Is that what our hearts
are saying? Is that what we are thinking? Our actions speak louder than words.
Sometimes we do not realize how responsible we are. Even though our loved ones
may have become of age, they are still our responsibility. We still have
responsibility for our brothers and sisters, for our kinsmen, but also for our
neighbors, for people in our community, for every person we have access to. It
is our responsibility to witness to them and to warn them.

"Human effort is profitless...without help from above, but no one receives such
help unless he himself chooses to make an effort. We need always both things, we
need the human and the divine, ascetic practice and spiritual knowledge, fear
and hope, inward grief and solace, fearfulness and humility, discrimination and
love."

Dear MOSC members,
Peace does not mean that everything around you is calm and tranquil; true peace
means that you are able to remain peaceful during the storms of life.

But this peace, which the Bible promises is available to believers, can only
come from God. Jesus said, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may
have peace" (John 16:33). In other words, Jesus came so that you could have
peace.

Paul tells us, in Philippians 4:6-7, that we can have peace if we don't become
anxious about life but instead give our worries to God: "Do not be anxious about
anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present
your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Hand over all of your problems to the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, and He will
give you a peace that passes understanding -- a peace that is beyond
comprehension.
Your spirit is more powerful than your flesh.

1 John 4:4 says, The one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the
world. The Holy Spirit, who lives in you if you are born again, is greater than
anything in the world, including your flesh. Therefore, you do not have to be
controlled by your flesh and worldly lusts.

In Luke 10:19, Jesus says, "I have given you authority to trample on snakes and
scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you."
This verse doesn't mean that things won't come against us, but it does mean that
even when hard things come against us, God has given us the power to remain
peaceful and joyful even in the midst of the difficult circumstances.

Remember that God "is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine,

The power God has given us is amazing; however, many Christians never activate
that power in their own lives because they don't really believe that God will
personally work in them.

Remember that Jesus said, "it shall be done for you as you have believed"
(Matthew 8:13). Therefore, dare to believe that God has given you the power to
do awesome things for Him--things that you can only do because your spirit is
more powerful than your flesh.

"Christ gave us the commandment to love others but did not make it a condition
of salvation that they should love us. Indeed, we may positively be disliked for
independence of spirit. It is essential in these days to be able to protect
ourselves from the influence of those with whom we come in contact. Otherwise we
risk losing both faith and prayer. Let the whole world dismiss us as unworthy of
attention, trust or respect - it will not matter provided that the Lord accepts
us."

H.G. Youhanon Mar Milithios, the diocesan metropolitan of Thrissur, did some
statements about the recent activates of H.G. Mar Gurgan and H.G's statement at
Bangalore been published by a person and H.G. Mar Militios Thirumeny said that
Thirumeny do not know the Gurgan or his plan.  The statement given by Thirumeny
is excellent and it reflects the stand of Thirumeny in the case of H.G. Mar
Gurgan.

H.G. Dr. Thomas Mar Athanasios and H.G. Youhanon Mar Militios were the chief
celebrants for the elevation of Mar Gurgan as a Bishop. Ss Thirumeny have all
the right to ask an explanation to H.G. Gurgan and if the explanation is not
satisfied then Thirumeny can bring the matter in front of the Holy Synod for
disciplinary action against Mar Gurgan or Thirumeny can issue a "Kalpana"
against Mar Gurgan.

If Thirumeny can do that it will be highly appreciable as the faithful MOSC
members can satisfy with the strict and timely action of Thirumeny and that
makes Thirumeny' stand clear to everyone.

Patrirach faction people are known to bend rules and show scant respect for
authority. They are fanatic and loud mouthed . You can see the mess they make
everywhere. Both  HGs Militios and Athanasios must be relieved of their posts
and sent to dayara for discipline.
