The primary purpose and goal of this list is the sharing of information, news, legislative alerts, announcements of events and other items of interest related to Deaf, Hard of Hearing, late deafened people as well as the Interpreting Community including American Sign Language interpreters, transliteraters, oral and cued speech communicators in the State of Maine.

This is a self posting list; members are responsible for policing and proofing their postings. All postings and replies must be signed (with full name, first and last) by their originators and may not be posted more than three times. All new members' postings will be monitored for a short period of time to reduce the unwanted solicitations and SPAM.
