Examples of use include coordinating playgroups, announcing neighborhood activities, providing resources regarding childcare, schools, and classes, giving contractor, housekeeper, and other recommendations, sharing information about suspicious or criminal activity in the neighborhood, providing tips for things to do or services to try, and in general discussing things of interest and use to families living on Magnolia.

Membership is open to parents with significant connections to Magnolia. It is intended for residents, thought parents with connections such as business ownership or religious communities may be considered on an individual basis.
